Since Jesus was born to save, it means that we were born to be saved. This is because the salvation that Jesus brought is for His people, thus salvation was brought with man in mind. Jesus was born so that He could bring salvation; it means that there was an intention in the heart of God, which is man; so every man that is born after He finished the work of salvation is born to be saved. This tells us that man who had the legal right to go to hell was fully atoned for. Therefore no man is permitted to go to hell because Jesus was born to save, so we were also born to be saved. Any man who finds himself in hell did that of his own volition; he chose to go there by refusing to accept the sacrifice of Jesus.
If we want to understand salvation properly, we must understand who man really is and what happened to him at the beginning. If we cannot capture that exactly, then we will misconstrue the essence of salvation. Man is the image of God who was meant to rule upon the earth and God is a Triune being, that is, one who is three and yet one. It is not one person manifesting in three ways, they are three persons manifesting as one. But then they made man as a tripartite (three part) being so the three make one. Man in essence is a spirit, has a soul and lives in a body.
When Jesus came and did the work of salvation, He came actually to fix the order of God that the devil destroyed at the beginning in the garden of Eden. The actual sequence of life that God gave to man was spirit, soul and body, so that when God approaches man it is the spirit of man that responds to God. The reason man could no longer sense God was because that order was reversed at the fall; so instead of spirit, soul and body it became body, soul and spirit. That is why every human being is more conscious, more at home with what happens around. Thus, we can tell accurately things that we can see, smell, taste and feel but we cannot tell precisely what happens in the spirit realm. This weakness makes plain the death of man. Man died because he was separated from God and that was because the spirit of man was relocated to the back instead of the spirit to be at the front. But thank God for Jesus who came to restore us to our former estate. He was born to save, so do not hold back. No matter how far you have gone, He is able to save to the utmost.
PRAYER/ACTION
Pray that God will restore you back to His original purpose of creation.
Pray that from today, you will rule and have dominion.
Declare that you are the head and not the tail; success and not a failure.
