I've had some great cars in my 62 years on this earth, but I've never owned a race car. I've had quite a few fast cars, but I've always been able to get in and out of them. I wouldn't be able to fit in a race car or a go cart, they just ride too low to the ground. My lowest riding car was a 1967 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 4.2 liter beast.
I bought that car when I was 19 years old for $3500. I was probably the only grocery cashier with an XKE, and when I parked it outside of the Handy- Andy, people would inquire who owned that Jag, my coworkers would point to me. I had that car for almost 20 years, before I sold it to a guy from Canada. I wonder what ever happened to that car. Have a safe weekend Freewriters.
