Today's high temperature was 62° degrees in San Antonio Texas, so we could have done a little outdoor cooking, but tomorrow will be in the 70°s. Fortunately we love Augie's Barbed Wire BBQ so much, we get all our winter barbecue from their smokehouse. Augie's is close to downtown right down the block from the San Antonio Zoo. Augie is a great pit boss and can make that meat fall off the bone just by looking at it. His mac & cheese is amazing and if we get there early enough, we can usually get his yams year round. Augie's also has a beer garden and is pet friendly with live music most weekends. Sometimes we just have a cool one out front and watch the park train go by!
