When my sister's traveled to Italy in October, I told them to take only what they could carry because nobody was going to help them get on the trains and the cars are tiny. When I lifted my sister's bag it was about 65 pounds, way over the airline limit. She had to move some stuff to my other sisters bag, so she wouldn't have to pay a weight penalty. She took a bunch of presents to my aunt and cousins and I thought the trip home would have lighter bags, boy was I wrong. She had to mail a package of books that she received as a gift for helping the family church. Even our trip to Nebraska I over packed, but I least we drove so it wasn't a big problem. One day we'll learn to bring only what we could carry! It's almost Christmas.

Hahaha, we travel very light my friend. No bags in the hold and only one bag each in the overhead space when we fly.

My daughter always takes way more than she needs. She's a tiny person lugging around a HUGE suitcase, and like your sister always needs to shuffle stuff around to get her pieces under 50 pounds.

I have done that!! Taken way too much and forgot how hard it is to get on the train and from one to the other. Now, I travel very light when I go overseas :)

Aww the pains of baggage limit. I had some colleagues form work who were first time fliers. Bought so much stuff and they ended up dumping them in the bin.
