The Right Bandage
5 Minute Freewrite:- Prompt: bandage
Bandage seems like an unlikely subject to do a post about but it actually was something I had to think about recently.
Hubby had a cut on his leg. Not a serious injury but needed a bandage to cover it so his pant leg didn’t keep rubbing against it and irritating. The bandages in the medicine cabinet were old and didn’t stick well. A couple times he would find the bandage had fallen off the cut and was stuck to his pant leg.
The obvious solution was to go to the store and get some better bandages. Super Store carries about everything and when I went to buy groceries I checked out the pharmacy. There were at least ten different kinds of bandages.
“Should I purchase the packages of bandages that were on sale or the above ones that had ‘strong adhesive ‘ advertised and 80 different sizes”
Strong adhesive would also mean the bandage would stick but also pull your leg hairs when you removed it.
Hubby hasn’t complained about the loss of leg hairs and his cut is healing.

I think men suffer to the extreme with band-aides on their hairy bodies. I always feel sorry for them and apologise to Ben as I take his off.😐

Oh, to be a man and have to do the quick pull to save the hair! It is one of the times I don't envy being a man... of course there are other times too, but, we are talking about bandages here! LOL

I had bandages that fell off - so irritating!
These ones with the strong adhesive seem to stay on.
