Laika
Meet Laika - named after the first Russian dog sent into outer space.
This Laika is not going to outer space but is going outside to explore a snow covered yard!

It wasn't long before she took off running through the snow!

She liked to sniff everything but wasn't too sure about the deeper snow at first.

Sniffing and chewing on things! She loved tugging on the seed heads of the Echinacea and giving them a good chew.

She found the sleigh and I think she is a natural sled dog as she began pulling it around!

One more look out over the yard before heading up the stairs and back indoors for a much needed rest.

Back inside it wasn't long before Laika stretched out in her cozy bed and was fast a sleep.

She stretched even more, totally oblivious to all around her, sprawled half out of her bed, lying on her back. Such a funny pup!

Ohhhhh i am in love too, and those eyes, ias a dogs mum i know all the new exploring is all about and still they are such sweet harts to photograph, laika is a great steem addition thank you it brought a smile to my face

A new puppy! How does Bruno like her? She's adorable! Is she a chocolate Lab?
She is my son's dog and Bruno hasn't met her yet. She is a purebred chocolate lab that my son wants to train as a hunting dog.
What a gorgeous new little family member, puppy breath, needle sharp nips and that little belly to blow!
Puppies really do bring the child out in all of us, wish you many happy years with your lovely little girl, big boy Bruni will show her the ropes in no time at all.
Laika has brought us much smiles and laughter plus cuddles (she loves to curl up on your lap) and sharp puppy nips (we have lots of chewie toys for her so we are not the object for her chewing while she teeths)
She is my son's dog and Bruno hasn't met her yet. They live in the city and Bruno does not do well in the city so he has to wait until they come up here for a visit.

Daawwww! You know I love dogs, and she is adorable! My first dog was a pure white Siberian Husky who wouldn't go outside upon meeting her first snowfall. I actually had to scoop her up and drop her in the middle of the yard!
Here she is along with me when I was young, and my daughter who had not yet graduated college.
That's funny that a Siberian husky didn't like snow for they are often bred to be sled dogs! She is a beauty!
