Day Four! The final day at wonderland, Bandarban! Rimakri itself is a beautiful place but we went there during dry season so couldn't able to watch the beautiful water steps named the "Rimakri Waterfalls".

Water getting deep somewhere and even deeper somewhere!

We have started our journey form Rimakri early in the morning around 8am.

This time we have checked with our boatmen whether the boat is waterproof or not! As this time we gonna continue our journey through deep water safety was necessary.

We were watching the beautiful landscape and selfie was must!

Please ignore lots of pictures in this post! I couldn't able to decide which one to keep which one need loose as this would be the end day of the Bandarban tour.

Adventurers People, I’m on the right!

Although boatmen asked us to use one boat only but we didn't take any risk and hire two boats.

We started with low tide soon our boat started to run instead of walk as we were moving down this time! While walking started three days ago we went up and up I guess; as we could see the water going down the stream and of course there is no way up for this kind of River.

Water less or more nothing could stopped our journey, we had to drag our boat!

Although we have started low water to deep water soon we found there is no River anymore (!) but only little water moving down. We all had get off the boat and boatman drag the boat to the deep water with our help.

This is the point where water getting deeper and we all started our journey again...

Beautiful bank of the Naf River

After getting on the boat

Bigger rocks in the River people said these falls from the hill top years ago! Some of the local said they come from other places due to current of water and stuck all here together!

Isn’t it beautiful?

Beautiful nature scenery around! Believe me each of the steps down the stream will provide you a brand new beauty! Each rock is different to watch. I actually can't explain my feelings in my words.

I have no knowledge about Petrology but these steps might represent water level of different times....

Some of the woods we found around hundred feet tall!

This is how woods being tranfer from deep forest to closest public roads. Then the put on the big truck and transfer them to their destination. Sometimes they being carried out to the nearest mill as well.

Baro Pathar Area

”Baro Pathor” or King Rock would be the name of this due to the appearance of the rock!

These rock are hundreds years old Alhamdulillah I’m good! Guess...

Looks like an Alien Spaceship !

A huge Rock

Boat passing and leaving mark of paints!

This is not a good sign, most off the boat made a scratch during passing this place which made the rock looks like this, we should keep the things as it is so that nature could stay as it is! We should be more careful and need to save the natural beauty of the planet.

Finally we jumped into open water

A beautiful huge tree with flowers locally called ”Jarul” Tree

Legal or Illegal both way deforestation continues....nobody watch...

Full Team along local kids

About Bandarban

Bandarban is the most remote district of Bangladesh and surrounding with hills and least populated. You might meet around fifteen tribes of the region if you trek through the mountains. Also, this region is danger free a era now, we went there during off season and found many tourists. There would be a permission required upon visiting this place. Although many western guides may describe the Hill Tracts as major security risk but it is not anymore since the insurgency ceased more than a era now!

Besides the natural beauty like Nilgiri, Nilachal, Sajek, Keokardong there are many place to visit in this hill district -

  1. Tribal Bazar
  2. Dhatu Jadi
  3. Bandarban Museum
  4. Buddhists Temple
  5. Upper Buddhists Temple

Thank you everyone! Hope you enjoyed the final post of my four days walking in the deep mountain of Bandarban.

Really beautiful and adventurous. I'd recommend each of you visit the Beautiful Hill Tracts District of Bangladesh. Please let me know if you need any suggestions or help.

Take Care, bye!

Great place to visit. Once I have visited. It's really nice.

Really awesome place! I wish to be there once more to discover the Amiyakhum! Missed last time due to not having experienced guide!
