The United States DOES have too much consumer spending, but we forget that we have lots of natural resources as well.

We like to tell ourselves that California makes money from Hollywood and Disneyland and other such stuff but a truth is that California is a GREAT place to grow fresh, organic fruits and vegetables that can sustain the whole US.

It is just a matter of re-directing where we concentrate our resources and how we use them.

I have a love for my land that goes deeper than what the United States has done to it, and I see solutions that go many, many years back. We need to wake up, and majorly shift. I hope it can be done in a more or less peaceful manner so we can avoid many unnecessary pains.
