Oh my God! A couple of days ago was my 2nd birthday in steem, and I didn't realize, well these last few days I've been more distracted than usual. Well, on January 6th 2018, I finally got that longed-for email with my master key so I could start publishing in this marvel that is the Steem block chain. And with this little story that I will tell you later, I think some of you will identify with it.

When I first heard about steemit, (because in principle I was told about steemit, not about steem), it was December 2017 and I was looking for options to diversify my economic income, I didn't have the slightest knowledge about the world of crypts, beyond having heard a couple of times about Bitcoin, a client of my brother's, told him that he wrote in a social network that paid him to create content, in those months the SBD was around 8 and 10 USD, which represented a quite significant income for someone living in Venezuela. I was looking for something like that, and without hesitation I applied to enter this world,

I remember that I didn't have the slightest intention to investigate the use of the platform, the truth is that my time was quite limited, so when I got that longed-for mail, and after reading some publications, I asked myself, "What the hell are you going to write now? I had no idea what to do, I'd never written for a blog before, I was used to Facebook, where I shared pictures and some posts I liked, my brother said, write about recipes, you're good at cooking, and that's how I got my first vote from the Cheetah, the truth is that my first two or three posts were a bit of a shame, I have to admit.

Even after making those short, unmarked publications, without adding fonts to the images, and making all the mistakes that no person should make on this platform, I left steem aside for almost a month, until I researched, read and learned how to use markdown and html, and that is how my publications began to be seen by the communities with good voting power, at that very moment my love with steemit began and with all the dapps of steem that up to now I love as I love the communities that have supported me and with which I try to share whenever my time allows.

Thanks to Steem, I began to know about the world of cryptomonies, the chain of blocks and all the little that I know, because this is an extremely extensive world, of which still I continue learning, in the same way thanks to steem I have known wonderful people of many parts of the world, which never I could have done it, and that I hope in some moment to be able to share with all of them beyond the monitor of my pc and of a Discord server, More than a year ago, I said that this was a job for me, because it gave me the economic help to get ahead with my little Mathias, however today I say that steem is my second home, something that I enjoy, and that satisfies me, here I share more than my recipes and my photographs, I share part of my life, and I have been able to know part of the life of many people.

Thanks to this comment was that I remembered it was my Steemiversary!!

This is why, in spite of the fact that I arrived when the Steem was worth 8 USD, and that I have seen ups and downs, as if it were a carousel, and that at the moment it is at its lowest point, I do not abandon it nor do I intend to get off this carousel, because although it still continues to be an economic support for the maintenance of my little one, has helped me to find other ways to generate income, has given me extremely valuable friendships, and is a sea of knowledge and good information that usually always ends up nourishing my knowledge, and the gratitude and love I feel for this world and the communities that make it up is immense.

My commitment for this year with Steem (it really has always been), is to bring good content creators to the platform, creators who see beyond the monetary income they can generate, because many have left due to the low prices of steem, people who really value the content they find and what they bring to the different communities. To show many that there is a world beyond Instagram and Facebook, where they can also monetize their excellent content. Continue to support the communities that I support to date, as a curator or as an active member, and of course continue to create good content. This witch came to Steem 2 years ago and it was to stay.
