RE: Five original micropoems with images
Hey @owasco! Grateful for the poetic dialogue here :-) I find it interesting that you say 'Prison break' was your favorite, as it's the one that began this whole thing. Was meditating in the morning as I generally do before getting out of bed and all of the sudden it appeared. Probably, it's the most heartfelt — a bit of a lament, as it were, of the mind's delusion that some word, phrase, story, belief, concept, etc. will break it out of the self-inflicted prison of ignorance. At the same time, the very willingness to express it somewhat transmutes it, makes it less heavy and more whimsical, I think. All in all, your reads show plenty of insight and I thank you for that.
The art is very interesting too, the discordant motifs in them and how those mingle silently on the page. How do you make those? I think I might like doing that.
I showed the iterative-compositing process with minimal explanation on Behind the scenes — "Hoist me up the flame" images about a week ago. I consider myself an amateur there as I'm really just experimenting and continually finding more that can be done with Final Cut. However, since there seems to be interest, I will likely create some blogs in the future that give more concrete steps to how I go about doing it. I originally opened the @dpend.extra account for behind-the-scenes looking at things posted on my main blog, as I don't want to spam my followers with too much :-P
The @dpend.active is for posting my actifit report cards, again so I don't spam anybody with those, and I will probably blog a bit about skateboarding and health-related content from time to time there. As of now, no "dpendcoin" exists, and I am still relatively in the dark as to steem-engine tokens and the like.
I'm sorry that you got downvoted; I'm thinking someone reacted to the article you posted about Witnesses and retaliated against what they saw as an unfair portrayal of recent events. It is unfortunate, but my time on Steem has shown me that the best way to stay out of the firing line is to A) stay out of posting regarding Steem Politics; I only engage on others' blogs from time to time in that area, and B) If I get flagged, say nothing and pretend it never happened, which causes anyone who gets off on getting a rise out of someone to not find it entertaining to flag you and C) Never assume I've gotten anything from a post until it pays out.
I just want to publish my little pieces and live in peace on earth. Seems that is too much to ask from steem.
You and me both! That all being said, I hope that the flagging situation doesn't escalate vis-à-vis your future poetry blogs, and will continue to support you in that area, so please keep me updated. I hope you do not get too discouraged as I enjoy seeing your contributions. I am sure with your quality of content more large whale votes in future will serve to counterbalance what was removed from those three recent blogs.

Thanks for the link to reiterative-compositing! Gonna give that a shot! And for your support.
I was DV'd because I bought sbi for @freewritehouse of all entities, the one that saved my steem life and onboards a LOT of people.
I received a lot of support to counteract the DVs (esp PHC), and today I feel a little better about it. But the main hit was on Raptor, which is the very best thing I have ever posted on steem, so I was especially despondent.
But you bring me to one of the things I dislike the most about steem - we have to ignore the affronts so as to not suffer more of them. I can not abide that.
So of course, since I can not keep my mouth shut, I'm working on a post that will either make or break me here. I need a voice in the governing of this place other than to choose among witnesses whose inner workings completely escape me.
