Thursday is Butterfly Day and Insect Day Giveaway- Week 40
This image may not be the best but it was the one I was able to capture, my camera is not professional.
Flies belong to the order of diptera. These little friends are harmful to health since they are potential transmitters of some diseases because their habitat is garbage, decomposing meat and fecal matter; that is why we must try to keep the spaces or places clean and cover the food well.
They play an important role in the food chain; they are prey to toads and lizards, for example.
House flies have taste organs in the tarsi of their legs, called chemoreceptors, with which they can obtain information from food by walking on it. When we see a fly rubbing its legs, it is actually cleaning its chemoreceptors in order to detect a new taste.

I don't know any people who like flies but as you pointed out, there are things in nature that do. Good information. Thanks for using #butterflyday and #insectpub tags. : )
Sorry for the late response. I have been very busy visiting with family and friends for the holiday.
