Interesting use of prawns to clean smaller tanks, really looking healthy. Also clearly remember a previous post about your unusual frog.

Guppies I do remember being an invading species once they settle in, they populated exceptionally fast in an outdoor pool we had some years ago, actually ended up I was sorry we introduced them at all.

The little prawns are fun to watch. It's possible to get them in red, blue and yellow, too! They will keep everything looking nice.

Guppies are a disaster. Such a beautiful little fish though, but they sure like to breed.

Must be fun watching the prawns in variety of colours growing bigger, doing what they do best.

Seahorse or two may keep numbers down on guppies over population, would love to have kept one or two seahorses if I ever had a tank indoors.

Sea horses would be amazing to keep. You will probably need very high-quality seawater to keep those.

Freshwater pipefish is similar species, never seen them only heard about them.

Estuaries over here in South Africa around the Knysna region have seahorses in the wild.

A friends father growing up had large aquariums (many years ago), I found them so fascinating to watch. His aquariums were freshwater and seawater, quite something to see.

I just looked at pictured of the rainbow bellied pipefish, it came up when I searched for fresh water pipefish. It looks amazing.

I thought they were all salt water. Hmm now I want one ghost fish and pipe fish are fun to watch.

Oh have fun, a very relaxing thing is an aquarium to watch into the private lives of unusual.

This is such a cool post! So the shrimp are there to basically keep things clean in the aquarium, or pond which eliminates your needing to do it more often yourself? But it sounds kind of like you can't put them in where you have your fish and have to trade them out? Interesting!

Also, thanks again for the help yesterday in the proper way to do the posh and steemit twitter tags and the whole twitter thing!

Interesting to see an indoor pond! Here we usually only see outdoor ponds as we have a mild climate. Useful that the shrimp cleans up the algae like that! The carpet certainly grew splendidly. Enjoy!

Thanks. Actually, I notice the carpet is changing a bit. Plants tend to grow differently when they realize they are going to remain submerged.

I would love to have an outdoor pond, but it would be a skating rink this time of year.

The one you built in the 1st picture is absolutely frikkin insane dude😱 dammit it looks so satisfying.. And green AF🤣

Please do keep us updated👥 I know I'll be very keen on seeing the progress

Thanks. I plan on doing an update of all my aquariums in a few weeks. I'll give them a good clean first so they are looking their best.

Is this keeping yourself busy in winter when you can't go out gardening?

Hahaha maybe. We all need indoor hobbies.

If I owned land, I'd probably have an outdoor pond, too.

This is not a pleasure of planting ponds... You are a perfect EXPERT !

That's pretty neat! It seems like it would be a fun hobby. Will those little shrimps ever get big enough to eat?

Hi @abitcoinskeptic. An awesome-looking pond. Something different as a companion to your others aquariums. They all look nice together. I agree that it takes a lot of patience to set and maintain aquariums. The fact that you have three of them now showing your personality. The way you describe your tanks and the species you bring to live in them is heart-warming.

Good luck with your new shrimp pond and the rest of your tanks. Keep us updated on the restoration of your other one. Have a great day and take care.

With the garden journals on hold for the winter i feel a shrimpsaturday or tanktuesday will be appropriate and we can watch them grow
