This is a photograph captured by me.
Sigiriya is also called "Singhagira". "Singha" means "Lion" and "Gira" means "Rock" in the Sinhala language. Because in those days this kingdom had the appearance of a lion. The Sigiriya garden is the 1st Garden City Complex in Southeast Asia. This shows how advanced engineering technology was in Sri Lanka. This garden is not only the oldest in Sri Lanka but also in Asia.
