BLACK OUT ISSUE(LIGHT)

Yesterday was just one long stress from morning till night. I woke up already planning to post that Portugal vs Uzbekistan recreation because I spent time getting the scoreline right. But as soon as I was done editing, light cut in the whole hostel. Not just my room, everywhere was dark. I kept checking my phone battery, it was dropping fast and I had no powerbank. That alone spoiled my mood because posting was part of my daily thing and I hate breaking streaks.

I rushed out to the charging centers thinking I could just plug my phone or powerbank and pay after it’s full. But everywhere was packed. The blackout was general so every student was there. All the sockets were filled, people were even arguing over space. I waited like 2 hours and still nothing. Some guys brought extension but it was chaos. By the time I got tired and wanted to go back, I heard news that light came back in other hostels but NEPA cut us off again because our hostel management didn’t pay the outstanding bill. So we were just stuck in darkness while others had light.

I couldn’t let the day end like that so I carried my phone and went to my friend’s hostel. He’s in another block where light had come back. Charged my phone there for like an hour just so I wouldn’t have to post today. I’m not lazy with my posts, once I miss a day it feels like I’m off routine. Came back late, battery at like 40%, and finally posted late at night. Whole day wasted on just charging phone and finding light. Tuesday Parker lecture + no light + full charging centers... yesterday really tested me sha 😂
