I am Tharuka Hitibandara from Sri Lanka and I’m a newbie to this lovely steemit online platform.

@besticofinder introduced me to this and as a learner of this, I would like to make friends all across the world and hope this Steem Passion community will be a great foundation for me to enhance my carrier towards Steemit.

I am a Science and Chemistry teacher by profession and working at a government school in Sri Lanka. Nevertheless, schools are closed coz of the ongoing pandemic, online class sessions are commencing for the students currently.

During a science practical with my students

I am married to a loving, caring, and protecting person; Channa Jayawickrama. Now we are parents to a cute little daughter; Yohana, who is just completed her twelve months.

Travelling, cooking, and reading story books are my latest passions and traveling has stopped for few days due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

I highly believe that this community will help to uplift me from this platform and will take my maximum effort to accomplish it. Therefore, I would like to request all the members of this community to grow together.
