Once upon a time, there was a girl by name Diana who goes to school in the neighbouring village where she was not well known.

She has been going to school late for four weeks and each time she arrives at the school, the teacher punished her.

On the fifth week, Diana didn’t attend school at all and many of the students and
teachers thought she had given up on school due to the everyday punishment received from the teacher.

However, Diana reported again on sixth week and this time she came earlier than her usual time and everybody.

When the teacher came to the class, She noticed that Diana was punished for not attending school the previous weeks but the teacher was so kind enough to commend Diana for arriving at school early that day, saying that the punishments had finally yielded good results.

Just as she was speaking, Diana asked if she could say something and the teacher permitted her to speak.

She started by saying that she has been raised up by a single mother without brothers and sisters. Six weeks ago that her mother fell ill and was hospitalized. That the four weeks she came to school late, she had to prepare something for her every morning and pass by the hospital to deliver the food before coming to school. That unfortunately, her mother passed away last week and that was the reason she was not in school and that she was buried last Saturday. She said she was early to school because she didn’t have to prepare anything or pass by the hospital. That now that her mother is gone, she will also be in school early.

After her brief explanation to as why she was always late to school, no one in the whole class including the teacher was able to hold their tears.

Moral lesson

How many times do we judge others about the things we do not know?.

Don't be a victim of asking questions like

  • Why are you still single?
  • When are you getting married?
  • Why you are not having kids?
  • When will you find a job?
  • When will you buy a car ?
  • When will you build a house ?

We should always try to understand people's situations and avoid judging from the case scenarios.

Most situations are not relatives and what we think could be very far from the truth.

It is best not to assume we know what others are going through or that people move in the same pace or direction as we do.

What a moral lesson, you are correct no one should judge any body because you might know the reason why that person did what he or she did. Is just like seeing someone going into prostitution, you might not know the reason for her to take such work. Thank you for this your story

Ohh dear @udyliciouz,this such a nice story.life is full of lessons and you got me fixed to this amazing one.
Thank you for sharing.

I appreciate your visit to my blog. I am glad you benefited from the post

Seriously we don't need to judge orders. It's only left for God to do so. The Moral lessons are very useful

Oh! Thank you dear @chichieze for going through my post, I really appreciate. We do not need to judge other.

I agreed with you

We should always try to understand people's situations and avoid judging from the case scenarios

Here is my article about never to judge a book by its cover 😊

Thank you for going through my post and there are always lessons for u to learn about judging a book by it cover.

I have just read through your article published 6 years ago. No one will think that Marilyn Monroe is a donkey not until that person book through the book. Even when I started reading that article I wanted to know who killed Marilyn Monroe I never taught of what that could be but who kill her.
What a great lesson learned

Over the years I have learned that lessons are to be learned in the smallest of things :-)

Hmm! Don't judge the book by its cover. We will not know the contents of the book if we don't open it. Hence, it is always right to ask people questions if we don't understand their situation.

Thank you for this great write-up.

Thank

Hello dear friend, you are so right and this story touches my heart, many people judge everyone without knowing what they are really living. No one knows the reality of another person until they live it, we must learn to be more empathetic and always think about the situations that may arise.

Great reflection, greetings!

I am so glad to see you read and leave some kind commendation in my post. I really appreciate you. It is human nature to always try to judge other people without knowing what they are passing through. I believe this post will help us to adjust our Mindset and judging spirit

Those who judge others always do so from afar. If they get the opportunity to inquire from the victim, they will change their view. If all of us can learn to always find out the fact, there will be peace between humans. Most disagreements and as a result of judging wrongly. I appreciate this story and the moral lesson my dear @udyliciouz. Application of the lessons will be great. I will keep doing my part. I wish you success

This story thought me a great lesson which I will try never to judge others from assumption or what I hear, rather to inquire or better yet learn not to judge anyone. Thank you for reading the post and appreciating my story

What I love in this nice story are the lesson and we consider them, it will be good

We all need to show care and concern. Many people don't care to check on others, to know how they are fairing or why they appear the way they do. People will judge and place a label, dependent on what they see. That is so bad!
