Brave Boy a Hero

in Colombia-Originallast year

My loving greetings to All my dear Steemian friends

On the Colombia Original community, this short story of mine is dedicated to children whose parents suddenly become ill or disabled. Or they die. What happens to those children after the shadow of their parents is removed from their heads, what do they have to do to run their lives. And my salute to such self-respecting children who fight against the situation.

Chima's father Bamidele was a welder and fabricator in an overbridge construction company and his income was not very high but there were only 3 members in the family, so expenses were easily covered.

But Bamidele could not save anything for his future. From his income, his family only could bear house hold expenses. But perhaps even God did not approve that despite being a poor man, his family's life was going well.

Suddenly, a few months ago, Bamidele was climbed a makeshift setup doing some welding work of construction of a bridge.

Then his welding equipment short-circuited and he fell from a 50 feet high temporary makeshift setup and broke both his legs.

Hearing the news of her husband accident , Cheema's mother was also running fast towards the spot, when a truck crushed her on the way. And she also got seriously injured in this accident.

Cheema still couldn't believe that in a single day her parents would suddenly leave him alone to fight this bad condition.

The condition of Cheema's parents had deteriorated in a single day and his studies were also incomplete. Cheema was left completely alone and helpless. Within days of his parents' accident, the entire family was on the verge of starvation. There was no other source of income. all the saved money was expended in the treatment of his mother and father , but they were not abale to do anythig yet.

Cheema understood the helplessness of his parents and decided that he would do something himself and take care of his parents and get them treated.

And then when he did not get any help from anywhere, he took up a job of driving a cycle cart in a company. The 15 year poor boy Chima who never came out of the house, who did not even know the streets of the city, was now riding a bicycle in the city to earn his livelihood and a little money.

He did not even know the roads of the city properly but many gentlemen of the city showed him the way. Otherwise everyone knows that nowadays due to such busy life there is no time even to show the way to anyone in the city. Chima is doing hard labour day and night to survive his family , and he became mature .

So I pray to God that Cheema will grow up one day to do some other light work. And then he will settle in his life. And will get his parents treated.
Just don't let God give him more trouble.

Saludos amigo.

I am very sorry to hear that you had lost your parents, a person is helpless just by coming to this place, he has nothing in his hands. But “He” also gives the courage to struggle and face these incidents.
Thank you.
A big fan of yours.
