Hello to everyone in this great community. I hope we are all doing so well today, and I want to believe that we all had a wonderful night rest.
Today, I welcome you all to yet another week of this month's engagement contest that has been organized by the steemit team in respect to burst the engagement on this platform.
And as such, I will be participating in the contest that has been brought forward by this community today which has been titled my medical report. So I urge you to relax, take a chill pill, and enjoy my article below.
Before I begin, I will like to explain in brief what a medical report is all about. A medical report is seen as a concised information that tells us more about your health, body fitness, internal organs, physique and so on.
It gives us the details about a person's health status and gives the right information about the ongoing happenings in a person's body after the body is been examined careful by the medical practitioner in the hospital laboratory.
ARE YOU AFRAID OF ANY MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS?
Technically, when I was much younger, I was always afraid of syringes and it is usually a pain in the ass. This is a norms for most children even adults today still fear syringes.
Syringes are instruments that are used to inject an individual, it is used to inject a sick patient, it is used to get blood from a sick person so as to run a test by the doctor, it is also used to vaccinate individuals so as to kick against infectious diseases, viruses or bacteria from getting hold of our body systems and organs.
The reason I was afraid of the syringe was because, often this syringes are used for treatment by which it is used to inject a patient with it. So the syringes are instruments which serves as a medium to get the medication into our body.
So the pain that comes with the injection was quite not funny as then I had a fragile skin which is so sensitive to things it comes in contact with.
The pain was the reason why I was afraid of the syringe, it got to the point that my parent often used it to scare me so that I can do the right thing. So the pain that it inhibit to my skin is the reason why I was afraid of the syringes.
But currently, I am now an adult, and as such, I do not think I am afraid of any medical instruments.
Not at all. The medical specialist are out there to help us out in every aspect which they fit in, and as such, I do not think I should be afraid of any medical specialist for they are not threat to our health but rather work so hard to better the lives of all people according to their various field of operation.
Although, most people are afraid of certain medical specialist depending on the condition of their health, they get scared not to hear a negative result about their health conditions.
But as for me, I ain't scared of any medical specialist, and that is why I take care of myself so well not to be in a distress state when ever I am visiting the hospital.
DO YOU RECALL ANY MEDICAL UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE?
Yes I do. I vividly recall an uncomfortable medical experience when I was a child. I was diagnosed to have appendix, and as such, the pain around my waist was never funny. Every time U bent down to wash my clothes, plates, or carry a thing, I always feel pains that became unbearable.
Yes I vividly did experience a medical trauma in my childhood. The medical experience concerning my health when I was a child is still intact and I will share with you all about it.
It was still the case of the appendix which I talked about earlier. The condition grew worse and became unbearable for me any longer.
It was becoming something else, then my mum quickly rushed me down to the hospital for a medical checkup. The doctor told my mum that I had appendix and that the only cure was for me to undergo and operation.
After hours, they got done and my mum yelled my name, so I responded. It was then that they knew everything went well and I was discharged from the hospital.
Though when I came out from the influence of that sedative, I felt hell on earth. The pain was so severe that my parent had to get generator should in case we ran out of power just for me to get air from the air conditioner.
It was really a painful scenario back then. And so subsequently, the pain started reducing and later on I got well.
HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED AN ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS CONSIDERED SERIOUS?
Yes I have, and it was still about the appendix operation case during my childhood. It was so serious to the point that I could not eat well, the appendix grew so badly that it affected my bladder and anything I carry will inhibit pain.
I often cry when this happens because the there was no sedative to calm the pain. I took several pain killers, but non of them worked so well. In fact when the pain comes, it last for over 20 minutes and I had no choice than to cry aloud, rolling on the ground due to the constant sharp pain around my waist.
It was also a matter of life and death. It was a 50/50 scenario but I thank the almighty that I am much alive today, and the operation went according to how it was planned. So today, I am hail and much hearty.
The experience I got was not a funny one and as such, It left a scar on my body as a result of the cut. Some problems or health issues are genetically, others are due to unforeseen circumstances. But at last, I got to know that health is indeed wealth. No matter how careful you are, what will be will definitely be because it is nature.
CONCLUSION
We should do so well to take care of our body, also we should be mindful of the things we ingest in our body. A good proper hygiene is to be maintained and we are to engage in regular exercise.
Taking care of our health should always be a priority and not an option, it is a necessity not to be taken likely. Thank you all for having me today and I hope you all enjoyed my article.
I will like to invite @badmus-official, @jueco and @skilocy to participate in this contest too.
Appendicitis changed a before and after in your life, enduring pain is very uncomfortable. Thank God that is now in the past and certainly you have to do everything possible to be healthy.
Appendicitis is a very uncomfortable disease, the pain after surgery makes our legs often have no appetite to eat,
But the actions that have been taken will be able to provide comfort back to you,
No matter how much we experience pain when injected, still when we need it, we have to accept it.
Good luck to you👍
