Christmas is a celebration in my country that happens every December 25th , A lot of people travel to thier different villages to be with thier loved ones just like am planning to travel if all things been equal for me.

Do you celebrate Christmas in your country? If the answer is Yes, say how they celebrate it, if the answer is No, say what other special date they celebrate in December.

Absolutely yes, Christmas is been well celebrated in my country. During Christmas session family bonds together because those living in diaspora comes back home to be with thier families, This time is also time for celebration like crowing and making of traditional rulers like the chiefs,Nze and the Ozo's , during this time alot of events takes place like football game between those residing in the village and those that came back from the city, there is masquerade display, wrestling and dance competitions during this session in my country.

2.- Do you perform any ritual at Christmas or on that special date? We would like to meet you.

To me as a Christian we dont perform any ritual rather we go to church to celebrate the birth of Christ when we come back from church we merry eat and drink.

3.- What special food do you prepare for this celebration?

Yes , I can say that almost every home prepare soup,rice with cow, goat,chicken or even fish as the case may be depending on the family. But every house must cook something that day which rice.

4.- Do you have any special memories regarding Christmas or that special date?

Yes oooo, I'm someone that is very scared of masquerade and knockout, during this celebration masquerade and sound of knockout will be everywhere untill my sister observed that i don't like this two things she told to follow her to her friend's place we followed a bush tack on our way to that place masquerade jumped out from the bush i almost fainted thankGod the masquerade did not run after us. It was a treble day for me.

conclusion

I love Christmas session because that is the only session we have to meet with our family far and near to have fun. Let God bless me this time so that i can visit my family and friends in the village this Christmas. Happy Christmas to you all in advance.
