Steemit Engagement Challenge (week 4): Share your Original Talent By @nadeesew

Hello dear friends,

Here we are in the fourth week of the engagement challenge. This time I think I can show you the original talent of my self. I always loved arts and crafts. As a leisure time activity I do crafts of many styles.

When I joined steemit I felt like this is a good place to share my experience and talents with others. So that's why I thought of doing crafts and share my knowledge and skills with you.

I was inspired by many craft creators in the platform. I also tried the crafts done by others in steemit. I think day by day I could gather a good knowledge and practice about the way of doing crafts.

So I would say that my original talent is for crafts.

A wall design

Now I will prove my original talent for you. I'm going to design a nice wall hanging or a wall decoration by using some papers and some pencil waste.

Let us see how to make it.

Materials used

• A4 papers from 2 colours
• Pencil waste
• Glue
• Scissors
• Stationary

Method

To make the design first I'm going to create the background design. I take the A4 papers cut into equal size strips. You will need equal amount of strips too.

Then I took one blue stripe and put a white stripe inside it as you can see and then I applied some glue then it won't move out.

Then I pasted blue stripes one on top and one inside and this way I pasted many blue strips. You need to paste it one by one to make sure it fixes.

In this same way I pasted all white strips too.

Then it is the most difficult part that I put one blue strip up and one down then a white strip up and another white strip down.

Now it is the final step of the background mat. I pasted the edges and cut the excess lines and arranged a nice background mat.

Then it is the time for the design. To make the design I sharpened some of my colour pencils and took the pencil waste.

Then as the final step I pasted the pencil waste In a shape that it looks like some flowers. I applied glue to the paper and the pencil waste and then pasted them in a way that I feel is beautiful.

Then I at last I pasted a blue paper to the back of the wall art as it needs some strength to fix anywhere. So it is me with my handy wall art.
