SEC Season 8 Week 6: For the Love of Animals

Hi everybody.

Today I entered the contest @colombiaoriginal "SEC Temporada 8 Semana 6: Por Amor a los Animales" . I also invite other friends to participate in this contest.

Everyone must have pets in their respective homes. These pets can be chickens, ducks, cats, goats and several other pets. My love as a pet owner for his beloved pet is extraordinary. In fact, they take good care of these animals, from feeding them to maintaining their health.

At home I have several pets, namely cats, chickens, ducks. I keep several cats at home and give them a special name. While chickens and ducks are animals that are commonly kept by residents of the village where I live. Raising chickens and ducks is also very beneficial for us where when we need chickens for cooking purposes we can take the chickens at home without having to buy them at the market.

What is your opinion regarding animal abuse? Have you witnessed any event of animal abuse?

Animal abuse is a very bad thing. Why do we torture animals and do we feel satisfaction or pleasure by torturing these animals. Although sometimes our pets are like cats, they also often eat fish or other food that we have carefully stored. Likewise with chickens or ducks, sometimes they eat our food in the house or pollute the house by throwing their feces. All of that is commonplace that we often find and we must accept it gracefully even though we are very angry, never abuse our pets or other people's animals.

I have seen those who abuse their own pets or other people's pets. They torture animals maybe because these animals make mistakes such as eating fish, eating food, excreting in random places and several other problems. I feel sad when I witness animal abuse and sometimes they beat the animals too.

Are there animals living on the streets in your community? What do you think is the cause?

There are also several animals found in my area that live on the streets. Animals that live on the streets that I usually find are cats. I often find these cats in the fish market, I don't know what caused the owners of these animals to throw them into the fish market. Maybe like the cause above, namely the cat eats fish, eats food that is not for him. In the fish market, many cats live there and the cats eat fish scraps to survive and also some other food available in the fish market.

I keep pets at home. I keep Angora cats, chickens and ducks. I take care of the Angora cat by buying special cat food. I take good care of them too. Meanwhile, my chickens and ducks take care of them from small to large. The chickens and ducks have eggs, some of the eggs I bring to the market to sell, and some lay eggs on the hens and ducks.
