What do I think about the death penalty? Do I agree on this?

Capital punishment is the legal punishment of killing a person. Crimes that are usually punishable by death are called "capital crimes". If a person is a threat to the society and nation or does a big bad thing repeatedly then that person is given death penalty.

I agree with the death penalty if the person sentenced to death is a major criminal or a threat to society. Moreover, I never agree with the death penalty for petty matters. Because every human life is worth a lot and a man means a lot to his family. So if a person is sentenced to death for a minor matter then I will never agree on this matter. On the other hand, if a person is a threat to the society and the nation or if a person has repeatedly committed a major crime including murder, rape, robbery, as a result of which other people in the society are afraid, then I will definitely support the death penalty for the criminal.

Is the death penalty part of the law of our country? Do I think it should be implemented?

First of all, yes, death penalty is a part of our country's law which is imposed on major criminals and traitors. 12 of the 34 sections of the Prevention of Violence against Women and Children Act provided for death penalty as punishment for various offences. The articles containing death penalty provisions were 4, 5(1) (2) (3), 6(1) (2), 8, 9(2) and (3), 11 (a), 12 and 30. Later, sections 5 and 6 became part of two laws related to acid control and human trafficking, so these sections were deleted from the Women and Child Abuse Act. That is why there are 7 death penalty clauses in the Prevention of Violence against Women and Children acid.

If the culprit has committed any crime which is a threat to the country and the people of the country then I think it is necessary to execute the death penalty on those people. Sedition activities, rape of women and children (if it continues periodically), acid throwing, murder including robbery etc. are required to be executed for obscene or bad acts. By doing this, the society, the country and the people of the country will be safe.

Do I know of any special cases of death penalty in my country or other countries?

On February 25, 2009, during the 3-day 'BDR Week', hundreds of Bangladesh Rifles (now BGB) members staged an armed revolt at the Durbar Hall of Bangladesh's Pilkhana headquarters. They killed 74 people including 57 army officers and the next day (February 26) the insurgency ended with surrender of firearms, ammunition and grenades through an accord between the then government and the BDR rebels. A total of 58 cases including murder and looting and sedition were registered in the incident. 152 people were sentenced to death and 423 were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment in murder cases and 277 accused were acquitted in this biggest murder case of the country.

Apart from these murder cases in our country, cases of rape of women and children, murder after robbery, treason, acid throwing etc. are given death penalty cases to keep the country and its people safe.

Conclusion

To every man his life is of immeasurable value and a man is a great asset to his family. Therefore, a man should never be put to death for a minor crime by force alone. A person should be given a chance to correct his mistakes and then if he indulges in bad deeds then punishment is applied to him in consideration of the bad deeds. So if a country has such a severe punishment as death penalty, the rate of bad deeds in that country will decrease and people will be quite safe. Therefore, the death penalty is appropriate for traitors and murderers, rapists, but in other cases they should be made to understand their mistakes.

Saludos 🤗

Thank you so much dear brother for your great review 😍

You have duly explained how important it is to have the death penalty in a state, that it could curtail the rate of bad deeds in the state and people would be safer. I understand your point of view perfectly. I enjoyed your entry, may the best contestant win the challenge
