The Diary Game - Lunes sin percances

Entramos a la casa pasadas las once de la mañana y me puse a barrer , en Colombia el mes de agosto se caracteriza por los fuerte vientos, así que todo permanece lleno de polvo que entra por las ventanas, por debajo de la puerta y por una marquesina que hay en la parte de arriba. También Tekila e Iris botan demasiado pelo, así que barri rápido para luego poder almorzar tranquila.

Today I didn't do anything extraordinary, I got up at 7 am, got Iris ready to go to school, took a bath, got ready and went out to the park to play with Tekila. Last week every two days I had to take Teki to the vet for some immunostimulant injections, fortunately this week we don't have to go anymore, but until Friday, so we took advantage and went to the park to play with the ball for a while.

We entered the house after eleven in the morning and I started to sweep, in Colombia the month of August is characterized by strong winds, so everything remains full of dust that enters through the windows, under the door and through a canopy that is on the top. Also Tekila and Iris throw out too much hair, so I sweep quickly and then I can have lunch in peace.

El almuerzo fueron champiñones con queso y papa, también jugo de naranja con leche y para completar, una rica torta de chocolate que preparé ayer. Los domingos me gusta hacer algo rico, algunas veces preparamos arroz con leche, otras veces helado y esta semana fue torta de chocolate. Así que en postre del lunes es este, Tekila no dejaba de pedir un pedazo, pero los caninos no pueden comer estos alimentos.

Lunch was mushrooms with cheese and potato, also orange juice with milk and to top it off, a delicious chocolate cake that I made yesterday. On Sundays I like to make something delicious, sometimes we prepare rice pudding, sometimes ice cream and this week it was chocolate cake. So this is the dessert for Monday, Tekila kept asking for a piece, but canines can't eat these foods.

Almuerzo del 9 de agosto

Cuando estaba terminando, llamó mi hermano que está de turno en el hospital, a raíz del paro que se presentó en Colombia, les organizaron los turnos por 12 horas, por esa razón mi mamá le lleva el almuerzo. Mi hermano llamó para pedir agua con gas, me toco ir hasta el supermercado por una y aproveché para comprar unas gomas.

When I was finishing, my brother called, he is on duty at the hospital, because of the strike in Colombia, they organized the shifts for 12 hours, for that reason my mom brings him lunch. My brother called to ask for sparkling water, I had to go to the supermarket to get some and I took advantage of the situation to buy some rubber bands.

Mi mami me estaba esperando al llegar a casa, para ir al a hospital San Pedro a dejarle el almuerzo a mi hermano y mientras subíamos por la Av. Panamericana, fuimos comiendo gomas, a mi mami esto le encanta, por eso las compré y a mi también, somos bastante dulceras.

My mommy was waiting for me when I got home, to go to San Pedro hospital to leave lunch for my brother and while we were going up Panamericana Avenue, we were eating gummies, my mommy loves this, that's why I bought them and me too, we are quite sweet tooth.

Con mi hermano no tardamos nada, llegamos al hospital, le marcamos a su celular, el sale por la lonchera con el almuerzo y un agua con gas y ya, hasta la noche. Creo que hoy tiene turno 24 horas, así que a las 7 mi mamá le llevara la cena. Debo reconocer que mi mami es demasiado consentidora con él, es su hijo favorito ja ja.

With my brother we don't take long at all, we get to the hospital, we dial his cell phone, he goes out to get the lunch box with lunch and a sparkling water and that's it, until tonight. I think he has a 24 hour shift today, so at 7 my mom will bring him dinner. I must admit that my mommy is too spoiled with him, he is her favorite son ha ha.

En la tarde, descansamos un rato y luego salimos a dar un paseo con Iris y Tekila, siempre tratamos de caminar con ellas por una hora, a este paseo siempre me acompaña mi mami, a ella le hace bien caminar. De ahí salimos a un supermercado llamado Alkosto, quería ver un celular, el mio, lo deje caer y se daño la pantalla, así que estoy esperando una buena promoción para comprar uno. Ya en la noche, el plan fue ver televisión, mientras las chicas perrunas dormían.

In the afternoon, we rested for a while and then we went for a walk with Iris and Tekila, we always try to walk with them for an hour, my mom always accompanies me on this walk, it is good for her to walk. From there we went to a supermarket called Alkosto, I wanted to see a cell phone, mine, I dropped it and the screen was damaged, so I'm waiting for a good promotion to buy one.
Already at night, the plan was to watch TV, while the doggy girls slept.

Que bien se siente contarles lo que hago, hace rato no escribía para el diario, sé que siempre digo que trataré de retomarlo, vamos a ver si esta vez si me pongo juiciosa, para contarles lo que pasa por acá, en la casa de @marpa en el sur de Colombia.

How good it feels to tell you what I do, it's been a while since I wrote for the diary, I know I always say I will try to resume it, let's see if this time if I get judicious, to tell you what happens around here, in @marpa's house in southern Colombia.
