The Diary Game - Arreglos en mi casa y visita doble al veterinario

Estando en la veterinaria, me dijeron que ya había llegado el nuevo medicamento para Tekila. Lo que tiene Tekila es una enfermedad llamada "papilomitosis", a ella le dio en la boca y tiene varias verrugas rosadas ahí. Llevamos más de dos meses en tratamiento y no ha sido fácil para ella, porque han sido varias inyecciones y cuando pensábamos que todo iba bien la enfermedad reapareció con más fuerza. El problema con Tekila es que es una canina geriátrica, con un tumor maligno en su boca, por lo que sus tratamientos deben manejarse con cuidado. Si quieren que les sea sincera, ha sido desmotivante, pensé que lo superariamos rápido, pero llevamos mucho tiempo. La papilomitosis la genera un virus y es altamente contagiosa entre animales, por eso estamos subiendo las defensas de Iris, por fortuna ella no ha presentado hasta ahora la enfermedad.

I was at the vet's office and they told me that the new medication for Tekila had arrived. What Tekila has is a disease called "papillomitosis", she got it in her mouth and has several pink warts there. We have been treating her for more than two months and it has not been easy for her, because there have been several injections and when we thought everything was going well the disease reappeared with more strength. The problem with Tekila is that she is a geriatric canine, with a malignant tumor in her mouth, so her treatments must be handled with care. If you want me to be honest, it has been discouraging, I thought we would get over it quickly, but it has been a long time coming. Papillomitosis is generated by a virus and is highly contagious between animals, that is why we are raising Iris' defenses, fortunately she has not presented the disease so far.

Entonces, sabiendo que el nuevo tratamiento ya estaba en la veterinaria, fui a dejar a Iris a la casa y salí con Tekila. La veterinaria lo que hizo fue sacar sangre y esa sangre la mezcló con el producto y se la volvió a inyectar, por fortuna Tekila es muy juiciosa y siempre colabora con todo. Llegamos a medio día a la casa y me dice mi mamá que el señor de los arreglos del techo no va a ir. En mi habitación, estamos haciendo unos arreglos, por esa razón parte del techo está desbaratado.

Then, knowing that the new treatment was already at the vet's office, I went to leave Iris at home and went out with Tekila. The vet took blood and mixed it with the product and injected her again, fortunately Tekila is very judicious and always cooperates with everything.
We arrive home at noon and my mom tells me that the man who fixes the roof is not going to come. In my room, we are doing some repairs, for that reason part of the roof is messed up.

La noticia de que el señor no vendría hasta el lunes no me gustó para nada, porque habíamos quedado con él, que trabajaría sábado y domingo, para tratar de entregarnos todo terminado el jueves, pero ya no será así; trate de respirar y tener paciencia, porque mi papá dice que si nos ponemos bravos el señor se va y nos deja la obra tirada. Es incómodo porque me tuve que pasar al estudio, ahí metí todas mis cosas je je.

The news that he would not come until Monday did not please me at all, because we had agreed with him that he would work Saturday and Sunday, to try to deliver everything finished on Thursday, but it will not be like that; try to breathe and be patient, because my dad says that if we get angry he will go away and leave the work in ruins. It is uncomfortable because I had to move to the studio, there I put all my things heh heh.

En la tarde, vi televisión, salí un rato a caminar con las chicas perrunas y para cenar pedimos pizza, porque mi hermano (que vive en otra ciudad) nos mandó información de una promoción, donde por la compra de una pizza nos daban otra gratis, así que pedimos una pizza mediana.

In the afternoon, I watched TV, went for a walk with the doggy girls and for dinner we ordered pizza, because my brother (who lives in another city) sent us information about a promotion, where for the purchase of a pizza we got another one for free, so we ordered a medium pizza.

Obviamente le escribí a mi hermano, diciéndole que habíamos seguido sus recomendaciones y que dos pizzas habían sido compradas y comidas ja ja.

Obviously I wrote to my brother, telling him that we had followed his recommendations and that two pizzas had been bought and eaten ha ha.
