By Planting Trees Save The Earth

When we talk about the earth, then we will talk about one of the inheritances inherited by our parents, or the generation before us which we must protect as much as possible with all our body and soul, because this inheritance is a legacy that only stops temporarily. for us when the life is still in the body, then this inheritance must be inherited by the generation after us. Earth is one of the planets where humans and various other living things live, so we are obliged to maintain and inherit it in the next generation.

History records that the commemoration of World Earth Day, which is commemorated internationally, is every April 22. The date was pioneered by Gaylord Nelson in 1970. The date and year are actually much debated by experts, because some environmental activists celebrate Earth Day on the same date April 22 in a different year, namely 1960. And in Indonesia, there are still many people who don't know Earth Day, but the World Environment Day is always celebrated on June 5th.

The real purpose of commemorating Earth Day is to increase public awareness in maintaining and preserving every ecosystem on earth, because the damage that occurs on earth, both on land and at sea, of course, the main cause is humans themselves, not other creatures besides humans.

We also always hear various kinds of bad news that always haunts the earth, including news about melting polar ice caps, climate change, worsening global warming, oceans full of garbage and the threat of extinction of various other living things apart from humans themselves.

Planting trees is one of the main factors we protect the earth, because planting trees provides very broad benefits for humans and the environment, such as producing oxygen, where the role of oxygen itself is a very important element for human life. Other benefits of planting trees are absorbing carbon dioxide, absorbing rainwater, food sources, preventing abrasion such as planting mangrove trees and various other benefits.

Another factor for us to protect the earth is not littering, because it triggers floods, other species die and of course can harm humans themselves, while the garbage itself can be managed properly so that it can be reused after recycling, such as flower crafts. ornaments, children's piggy banks from plastic bottles, waste baskets from plastic bottles, pots for simple vertical gardens, and various other types of recycling that can be utilized from waste.

Not burning garbage is also an important factor for us to protect the earth, because when we burn garbage we indirectly release gases that cause ozone damage, so that ultraviolet rays do not directly hit the earth's surface.
