Steemit Engagement Challenge Season8 Week1: What is the value of life?
As we know the topic is about how important a life is, and also what is the value of life. I am going to share my thoughts and writings straight in my post. But before I wanna invite @brown-panther, @malikusman1 & @rafk to join this challenge.
What do you think about the death penalty, do you agree or disagree? Explain why?
Everyone agrees that every human life is precious. And should be. So that's why we first see why the death penalty is done? Let me share with you some of the reasons and then come to the main topic.
Crimes, in some countries because of drugs, in some countries because of rape, in some countries as revenge, i.e. if someone kills someone, his life should be taken in return, etc.
Now it comes to whether I agree with it or not, of course I agree with the sentence, because as we just said, every human life is precious. So what right does anyone have to play with human lives, by intoxicating them, raping someone, or taking someone's life. So this punishment must be imposed on such people.
Among its many advantages, some of the advantages are that no one else will be interested in such activities. No one will suffer from their evil. People will be safe. Now let me say one common thing here, that in some parts of our country it has become common to take the life of another for only one thousand (3.5 USD), twelve hundred (4.5 USD), so to eliminate such elements and the people can live with peace of mind. of the need for punishment and it would be a perfectly proper and proper course of action.
Is this type of penalty part of the law in your country? Do you think it should be implemented?
There are thirty-two crimes punishable by death under Pakistani law, and yes, this punishment is part of the country's laws. As I said above, to prevent crimes like these, it is important that such criminals are punished, so that other bad people think a hundred times before committing the same and other people can live comfortably.
As our topic is what is the value of human life? So these robbers should know that we cannot take someone's life for a thousand or two thousand, every human life is precious like ours (i.e. the robbers). If we care about the lives of criminals, we should first care about the lives of every noble soul of the people. Because they are not even criminals, how can they be left in the hands of criminals and keep the criminals safe from any punishment?
Do you know of any particular case of death penalty in your country or any other country? Can you share it?
There must be many cases in this country in which the death penalty is given, but in the part where I live, Alhamdulillah, Allah Almighty has given us protection. The hilly areas are frequent, so I am not currently aware of any convictions that the case has received in or around my area, and in the news, Pakistan's media doesn't show it all anyway. Maybe this issue require a separate post

Entiendo que en tu país si está legalizada la pena de muerte, estoy de acuerdo en que las personas sabiendo que si cometen ciertos delitos saben que pueden ser ejecutados evitarán hacerlo. No todos, porque habrá a quien no le importe que luego lo ejecuten, sin embargo, si puede limitar.

How sad is to take a life for money?
I often watch these crime channels on TV and then I cannot help myself wondering how on earth people can get it right to take a life, let alone for money.
My solution, put them in jail and through the key away!(•ิ‿•ิ)
But how much jails we will fill? I was going through a report yesterday that jails in famous cities of Pakistan are going filled with criminals and lot of criminals are in line for death penalty.
I am talking about (rapists, murders for money, and big crimes) These types of criminals deserves quick death penalty, why to feed them for free in jail?
Maybe jail for them is not tough enough?
Maybe if jail was more strict for them with, no television, no mingling with inmates, no visiting rights, one hour sunlight a day, etc. it will be a different picture. These days going to jail is where you can have a bed, food and study while it cost the tax payer.
This is quite unfair to the victims and their families. Human lives should be top priority of government and they should be able to leave upto expectation on this. Human life cannot be degraded that it is worth nothing.
Situations like this require accelerated judicial hearing and possible execution of culprits. Thank you @growwithme for sharing this good content
