Are you afraid of any medical instrument? Ex: syringes, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, etc. Tell us why.

Yeah, I'm scared of syringes. It is an instrument I have never dared to stand for it. From child hold, I'm scared of any instrument that inflicts pain on the body. So, given that syringes inflict pain, I never love the instrument being used on me. That is why I will propose to medical personnel to give me any quantity of medicine rather than any treatment that will require syringes.

Are you afraid of any medical specialist? To which? We would like to know why.

Well, I’m not scared of any medical specialist. I personally love consulting specialists whenever I visit the hospital. I think it is less expensive than consulting a general practitioner. I see a General practitioner as a jack of all trades but a master of none-LOL.

My encounter is when you visit a general practitioner. He will be working on guest work, so will write several medications to buy. Which you will buy, go home, and will not get any response to your health situation. You will be forced to come back, and he will write another series of medications to buy. In some cases, he will write down a series of laboratory tests that you will have to do. In the list may just one or sometimes non-will be positive. Then you will go for another series of tests. It is really expensive on the part of the patient.

With a specialist, I will advise anyone to always ask for a specialist whenever they find themselves in the hospital for consultation. A specialist will quickly understand what you're going through and will give you the right prescriptions, or his guest will not be far from your health situation.

Do you remember any uncomfortable, painful, funny, or unpleasant medical experience? Share it with us🙂

Yeah, I can remember one uncomfortable and painful experience after taking an injection. It was fifteen years ago when I went to the hospital to consult. I can’t remember the reason for going to the hospital, but I have prescribed an injection to take at the hospital before going back home.

Given that I’m scared of a syringe, I had no choice but to get the injection. So, I went to the hospital reception and paid for the injection, and asked that I should be given to go administer it at home. Unfortunately for me one elderly man, which I don’t see why he had to be involved in the whole situation. Asked why to go home and pay someone to administer the injection, which you could do here for free. Everyone in the room was in support of the decision, which made me unable to back myself up with why I wanted to go home and administer it. So, I decided to take the injection, and the nurse asked me to go into the private room and take off my pants. I did as instructed, she came in and I begged her to be more careful with that syringe. She smiled and asked if I was scared of it. She said, “Never worried it will be fine”.

So, after administering the injection. Well, I did not feel the pinch of the needle. So, I jumped down from the bed and found myself on the floor. I could not stand on my feet, not to talk, or understand what was wrong with my legs. That was going I feel like my whole leg was paralyzed, and lumped. From that moment I only got up from the bed, which I was told I have slept for about three hours. From that day, I knew again syringes are not a form of medical instrument I should admire being used on me.

Did you experience any medical trauma in your childhood? Could you share it with us?

As a child, the only experience I can share was told by my mom to me. And it still goes in line with my fear of syringes at age of two. My mom told me that at the age of two, I was seriously sick and that she took me to a local clinic for consultation. The moment the doctor brought the instrument to get my sample, I jumped from the hospital bed and started running back home. At that moment, she did not understand if I was sick. Just seeing the instrument traumatized me, and I could not stand it but run away.

Have you experienced an accident or illness considered serious? What teaching did this experience leave you?

Well, the accident which I consider serious happened on the soccer pitch. In my secondary days, I was a soccer player and in one of the inter-secondary competitions. I had an injury that put me down for over six months. From that moment, I stay away from the soccer pitch, and even I find myself. I will not give my all when running toward the ball. That incident created fear in me, given that you never know the intention of your opponent on the field.

At the moment, whenever I'm on the field of play, I will remember my injury and I play with a lot of caution to make sure I don’t get myself into pain again. My performance dropped because of that incident in secondary school.

I will invite @crismenia, @wirngo, and @enveng to participate in this contest and share their experiences.

Hi @fombae

I fully agree with you, without a doubt one of the most important aspects of our life is our own health, my medical experiences were quite funny lol, I never cried when I was getting any injections. Are you terrified of injections?

Upvote on the way.

I never cried when I was getting any injections.

What, i will cry out my lungs. I just hate shape objects around me. I'm not only terrified, I don't want them around me. I'm scared and most of the time will asked for tablets in the place of injection.

Thanks for dropping on my post.

Good morning @fombae

Thanks for being so responsive. I actually wated to ask you a question:

Have you seen recent announcement by Steemitblog related to new way of distributing TRX tokens to Steemit users? ( you can check it out here ).
I figured that you may have not seen this post and it's worth to be aware of implemented changed.

Check it out and I'm curious on what do you think about it? based on other people suggestion, it may be best to set up 100% power up on all your posts published on Steemit.

ps.
Is there any way to get in touch with you? Perhaps you could join our project.hope discord server (https://discord.gg/uWMJTaW) and I would gladly reach out to you.

cheers, Piotr

Have you seen recent announcement by Steemitblog related to new way of distributing TRX tokens to Steemit users?

Yeah, I have seen it. Well many are very much concerned about the final resolution and not interested in the reason behind it. The two ecosystems are investing in the platform, while TRON is investing in TRX, and Steemit is investing both platform resources and STEEM. The new agreement of 2022 has shifted from a ratio of 1:1 to 1:0.5.

it may be best to set up 100% power up

Set up 100% power up will depend on how you value your club status and want to earn more TRX. The math is very simple, user will earn half their SP earn. So why set up 50% power up when you will eventually still power up and at the same time earn less TRX? So it is best you set up 100% power up so as to save time to power up and earn more TRX.

Well, it is my opinion and not advice to any user. So it is all left to users on the platform to look at which fits and is more beneficial to them. Note this change has nothing to do with the exchange market price.

I very much appreciate your replies @fombae

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with

Set up 100% power up will depend on how you value your club status

Club status? You've lost me here? What does it even mean? I've been around on Steemit for few years already and I'm not sure what "club status" are you referring to ...

@project.hope
For Example, club100 means the user will need to power up 100% of what they earn as payout right. So set a 100% power-up so you will not have to hold the stem to power up to maintain your club status. At the same time, you earn more TRX as you earned more SP.

Set a 50%/50%, means you are either a member of club5050(Withdraw 50% of STEEM payout) or club75(Withdraw 25% of STEEM payout) or club100(Who want to manually power up). That way you earn a lesser amount of TRX on your payout

It is me again :)

I hope you don't mind if I take some of your time and attention @fombae

Our community founder posted lately an interesting topic, which turned into quite a solid discussion
Idea is to create "pockets of demand" for STEEM token, which hopefully would result with higher buying pressure and reflect on price of the token.

Consider checking it out, resteeming and sharing your own thoughts:

I thought am the only one who scared of syringes but after reading your post I discovered your fear is understatement LoL .I think we just need to be courageous any time we find ourselves in this situation most especially when we are sick, because it’s for our own health benefits .Are you still afraid of syringes bow?

Hahahahah, I think it because we have other options. Some people will blame the medical personnel administering it, which is something I'm looking at accepting with them. Some of them are not professional in their job and play around with people health when using a syringe on patients. Thanks for dropping on my post, home to read about your experience.

Hello dear friend, I understand your fear of needles, many people have it, I think it is something normal in most populations, as they cause pain, but mostly they are to protect us and certain diseases or help with their cure.

I am very sorry about your accident, no doubt it was something very important, I hope you are fully recovered and in good health. Thank you very much for participating in our challenge, you are welcome to our community.

I suggest you put more images in your posts, so the entry does not look so loaded with content.
