New Contest: Your worst and best moment in Steemit // @dave-hanny

Hi! Beloved steemians,
greetings to you all from my end, I am happy to be part of the participation in this contest from a great community of @colombia-original and I want to appreciate the steemit team for this amazing platform that rewards its users of the little effort put in place by writing articles with good content.

From the contest topic above, it's so true that in life generally, life never treats people completely good, its either treats bad for sometimes and later treats good and talking about human nature, life is not always .sweet as we want it and that is not because we can not make it sweet but reasons or situations make it so and we should also remember that, different parts of life constitutes an individual's complete life.

Steemit happened to be one of my parts of life and then joining steemit, I had it in mind that it wouldn't always be smooth and joyous all the time but there will be times when I will be moody and sad especially when I am expectant on a fat vote from steemcurator01 or steemcurator02. Therefore below, I'm going to share the bad moments and good moments on steemit so far.

Sincerely, I have countless times where the steemit platform gave me joy. I knew from the beginning that, votes wouldn't come easier to me because I was still very new to the platform and at that time, I loosed hope of getting huge support as others receives so, so I kept writing and especially when the engagement challenge started I took part in almost all but could you believe there was no vote at all.

On a faithful engagement challenge and to be specific season3week3. It was amazing that steemcurator01 and steemcurator02 visited my blog and touched three of my active post😊that day was my happiest day and truly, I told my mentor I was going to buy a full live chicken and prepare it at home which I did and myself, my mentor and other steemians joined me to celebrate for just that visit to my blog. I don't know how you guys are seeing it but that day was an amazing one. Subsequently, I was having booming support from different communities and now, I feel among in the steemit platform.

Indeed "bad moments" are inevitable because it is part of life. One of my worst moments was when I came newly to the platform where after much writing-ups, there will be a lot of corrections by the curators underlining plagiarism or copied work from the internet😢 and then I always felt discouraged not to continue writing but by the grace of God, I have improved on so many aspects especially the aspect of writing good content. I know most of us passed through this experience as a newbie on the platform but mine was worse than everyone else.

Another worst moment I had was when two of my post I was expecting huge and it was to pay out the next morning, Immediately that day, SBD disappeared. I was so disturbed and my whole day became sad and moody.

When bad moments comes your way, always know that it won't be forever but rather it would open a better way for you, and that bitterness it would change to will become your best moment. Best means something worth being called your happiness.
