Introduction
Life is the most valuable hung in the human body. It makes up the complete human, and without life, we are as good as nothing. Defining the value of life isn't that easy. Life depends on different things and factors, and each person's life ought to be well respected.
Although there are different ways in which different societies and individuals values life. It is difficult to be quantified, but never difficult for individuals to place their values on human lives. For a person's life to be well respected in the society, you have to first check how much that person has contributed to the society. You check the individual's life's quality to that society.
Unfortunately, coming into a modernizing society, we realized that one's life has little or no regard at all. We as humans who are supposed to protect the lives of one another are the same ones destroying it day by day. Although we said an individual's life is valuable if it brings peace and gains respect from the society, but there are still lives that derives joy in destroying others lives and putting their lives in a cruelty way or brutally affecting them.
Many countries today will sentence a murderer or someone who has done very bad thing to human lives to a death penalty. This death sentence to many is a fair judgement and should be allowed to continue. The court, the judiciary, sentence such individuals to a death sentence, in other words, destroying more lives.
The fact that lots of people don't value others lives shouldn't mean that we begin to implement it in a country's constitution to pass a death penalty to those who abuse others lives.

what I think about the death penalty
The death penalty being passed on people found guilty of such extremely bad deeds as murder, attempted murder or more is by law the best, but looking deep into the value of every human's life, it is totally not okay. I think this is something that has to be given deep considerations and if possible, rewritten in my country's law.
Is this type of penalty part of the law in your country? Do you think it should be implemented?
According to the information gotten from the link below, in Nigeria, death sentence still continues but it is not so absolute. Convicts can be given a hard punishment to undergo than depriving them of their lives.
some info about death penalty in Nigeria
Just as I have stated earlier, death penalty shouldn't be implemented in any country's constitution. Instead, those found guilty should be given a capital punishment other than death. Depriving an individual the right of live is very bad. Even though most of them are being convicted due to murder cases, it is still not okay to pass a death penalty on an individual.
Do you know of any particular case of death penalty in your country or any other country? Can you share it?
There are lots of death sentences in Nigeria that has happened, but not in recent years. These death happened long time ago, not until when my friend told me about one Mr. Gracious David west who who sentenced to death for killing 9 women in one night.

Wow!!! This got to me so hard. I mean how?? One man killed nine women. Even after I read about this young man, I realized that he had killed some women before killing the nine women in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria.
Conclusion
The value of life is often seen as an absolute, fundamental principle that should be upheld and protected at all times. No human live should be given a death penalty, and no human should take the live for another. Each life should be valued.
