Drunken eyes || poem

I looked into your drunken eyes
I saw some smoke push through your eyes
The thoughts of which were fresh to me
And made me think you were mine

I scanned through your twinkly brain
I saw some sparks inside of it
They walked into my ready heart
As if she knew where she belonged

Though held too close into your arms
I felt I knew where I called home
Inside these smoky fiery eyes
Inside this sparkling thoughtful brain

Thoughts of it made me fear
The red blood cells through your eyes
But calm I was when it came
So silently into my heart

Now I know where to call home
No more fear inside my house
No more tears in his arms
All but calm, I will feel
