¡Saludos!... Un cordial saludo a todos los miembros de la comunidad # writingandreviews y al resto de la gran familia #steemit.
NUESTRO INSOLITO UNIVERSO, es un programa radial con gran calado en la historia de la radiodifusión venezolana. Dicho programa fue creado en el año 1969 por Rafael Sylva Moreno y conducido por Porfirio Torres y su primera emisión fue en agosto de ese año en la emisora radial Radio Nacional de Venezuela.
Como contaba su creador, el programa surge como una iniciativa de entretenimiento para los escuchas de dicha emisora estatal. Rafael no pensó que el programa durara más de medio año de transmisión por dicha estación radial, sin embargo, sucedió todo lo contrario.
La temática de este programa, donde se exponían diferentes mitos, leyendas urbanas, temas históricos sobre hechos o personajes emblemático, entre otros, llamo la atención de los radioescuchas.
La popularidad del programa fue aumentando, a tal punto, que comenzó a ser retrasmitido en cadena privadas del circuito radial venezolano como Circuito Unión Radio, Circuito Éxito y Circuito Onda.
El programa llego a tener una trasmisión de siete veces diarias en cada estación perteneciente a los circuitos antes mencionados. Tal era la popularidad de dicho programa, que se podía estar en un restaurante, tienda, taxi, o cualquier sitio donde estuviese encendida la radio y al escuchar la voz de Porfirio torres, mucho de los presentes en alguno de esos lugares, pedía que se le subiera el volumen al radio rector para apreciar el capítulo del día de hoy.
Al terminar de escuchar la trasmisión del capítulo, por lo general, los presentes quedaban comentando sobre el tema tratado y se formaban tertulias que giraban sobre esos temas. Algo que muy pocos programas radiales han logrado en la historia de la radiodifusión venezolana.
El Hombre que Calculaba, El Misterio de Petra, El atentado a Rómulo Betancourt, La Mansión Maldita, El Sueño, Cementerio de Los Hijos de Dios, son algunos de los títulos de los más de 3.000 capítulos que se crearon de este programa.
La variedad de temas de toda índole, que podrían se considerados aburridos por algunos, se plantean de forma misteriosa manejando la creación de muchas interrogantes para el radio escucha. Esto género que algunos seguidores se dedicaran a investigar más sobre algún tema en particular escuchado en el programa, fomentando la lectura entre las personas, aparte de ser un buen programa de entretenimiento cultural.
La simplicidad del programa, con una producción dedicada pero liguera al punto de utilizar muchas veces la improvisación a la hora de la creación, lo llevo a ser escuchado pro todo tipo de público alcanzando popularidad sin distinción de rasgos, nivel social o pensamientos personales.
Porfirio Torres, nacido en San Juan de Los Morros, capital del estado Guárico, ciudad donde resido desde al año 1984, fue el encargado de conducir la narración del programa.
Reconocido locutor que empleaba su voz en comerciales publicitarios de radio y televisión y que fue la voz promocional del canal televisivo estatal Venezolana de Televisión, fue el encargado de narrar las historias producidas y dirigidas por Rafael Sylva Moreno.
Ambos crearon un estilo característico que los llevo a crear un reconocimiento automático por parte de los radios escuchas. Este hecho llevo a que muchas veces Porfirio estuviese en cualquier lura, una tienda, un supermercado, una oficina, y al hablar muchas personas reconocieran su voz y se acercaran a este para felicitarlo e interrogarlo sobre temas del programa.
Rafael Sylva Moreno, al pasar los años, compartió una anécdota que llamo mucho la atención de los seguidores del programa. Con un poco más de año y medio de vida en el aire del programa, comenzó a recibir vía correo una gran cantidad de material sobre temas para el programa de forma anónima. Este hecho lo llevo a investigar el origen de la llegada de estos temas y quien era el responsable de esto. Sin embargo, pasaban los días y este no conseguía saber de dónde provenía el asesoramiento.
Dos meses después le llego una nota donde estaba escrito lo siguiente:
Moreno hizo caso a la nota que le enviada el misterioso asesor y dejo de investidas. Pasaron los años y este nunca supo quién era el misterioso personaje.
Para el año 1994 Porfirio Torres, previas reuniones, concreto un aporte para crear unos cuentos, bajo el estilo del programa, que sería el preámbulo de los temas musicales compuestos por el Cantautor de Metal Venezolano Paul Gillman para el trabajo discográfico conceptual Escalofrió, basado en los mitos y leyendas venezolanas.
Dichos cuentos apoyaron en la creación de un ambiente de terror en el disco y servían como relato explicativo del espanto al cual iba dedicado cada tema. La aceptación por parte de los seguidores del metal en Venezuela fue muy positiva. El Silbón, La Sayona, El Tirano Aguirre, El Extraño caso de Petare, son algunos de los 8 temas que conforman esta genialidad discográfica del Metal Venezolano.
Porfirio Torres y Rafael Sylva Moreno quedaron muy complacido por el reconocimiento hecho por Paul Gillman al incluir el estilo del programa en el trabajo discográfico y en agradecimiento dedicaron un capítulo de dicho programa a un evento puntual en la vida artística del músico metalero venezolano.
En el año 2012 se vuelve a reunir el trio de creadores para gestar los cuentos que sería usado para el disco Escalofrió II, La Conclusión. Este trabajo daba como sellado el tema de los espantos en la temática de las canciones del músico.
Juan Machete, La Llorona, La Bola de Fuego, son parte de los 10 temas que conforman este trabajo discográfico, que también es vasado en los mitos y Leyendas de espantos de Venezuela. De este álbum hay que resaltar el tema ***Dorangel “El Comegente” donde se relata la historia de quien es considerado el primer asesino en serie en la historia de Venezuela. Hecho que conmocionó la opinión publica actual del país.
Existen otras colaboraciones entre este trio de creadores en trabajos existentes entre los dos discos Escalofrió.
Nada es eterno, todo es mortal, esta frase es parte de un tema, del mismo nombre, de la banda de metal venezolano Arkangel y lamentablemente lo tengo que emplear para hacer referencia al día 16 de enero del 2016 cuando se dio la noticia de que Rafael Sylva Moreno, fallecía. este hecho enluto el mundo de la radiodifusión en el país. A partir del mismo se dejó de producir este histórico programa radial.
Hoy, casi un mes de tiempo trascurrido, muere en la ciudad de Porlamar, Nueva Esparta, Venezuela, el señor Porfirio Torres dejando un vacío en la radiodifusión venezolana. Su voz será recordada por su increíble contribución a la cultura popular en el país a través del programa Nuestro Insólito Universo.
Este escrito pretende dar un pequeño reconociendo que dio a mi conocimiento de la cultura popular y a temas que pueden dar mucho de qué hablar si se ve a través del prisma con el cual fue planteado en dicho programa radial.
En la Biblioteca Nacional de Venezuela, existe una colección de más de 600 capítulos de este programa radial. Muchos de estos capítulos fueron donados por el mismo Rafael Sylva Moreno.
Actualmente se puede oír muchos de los capítulos de este programa en la página en el canal Nuestro insólito Universo, de Carolina Lorenzo, en la web YouTube. De la misma son los links que coloque en esta publicación para que ustedes puedan apreciar parte de este legado de la radiodifusión venezolana y crear una opinión sobre los mismos.

OUR INSOLITE UNIVERSE, is a radio program with great depth in the history of Venezuelan radio broadcasting. This program was created in 1969 by Rafael Sylva Moreno and hosted by Porfirio Torres and its first broadcast was in August of that year on the radio station Radio Nacional de Venezuela.
As its creator said, the program arose as an entertainment initiative for the listeners of the state radio station. Rafael did not think that the program would last more than half a year of transmission by said radio station, however, the opposite happened.
The subject matter of this program, where different myths, urban legends, historical topics about emblematic facts or characters, among others, were exposed, caught the attention of the listeners.
The popularity of the program was increasing, to such an extent, that it began to be rebroadcast in private channels of the Venezuelan radio circuit such as Circuito Unión Radio, Circuito Éxito and Circuito Onda***.
The program was broadcasted seven times a day in each station belonging to the aforementioned circuits. Such was the popularity of this program, that you could be in a restaurant, store, cab, or any place where the radio was on and when you heard the voice of Porfirio Torres, many of those present in any of those places, asked to turn up the volume of the radio to appreciate the chapter of today.
At the end of listening to the transmission of the chapter, usually, those present were left commenting on the topic discussed and formed gatherings that revolved around these issues. Something that very few radio programs have achieved in the history of Venezuelan radio broadcasting.

Two months later he received a note with the following written on it:
Moreno paid attention to the note sent to him by the mysterious advisor and stopped investigating. Years passed and he never knew who the mysterious character was.
For the year 1994 Porfirio Torres, previous meetings, concrete a contribution to create some stories, under the style of the program, which would be the preamble of the musical themes composed by the Venezuelan Metal Singer-Songwriter Paul Gillman for the conceptual discographic work Escalofrió, based on the Venezuelan myths and legends.
These tales helped in the creation of an atmosphere of terror in the album and served as an explanatory tale of the horror to which each song was dedicated. The acceptance by the followers of metal in Venezuela was very positive. El Silbón, La Sayona, El Tirano Aguirre, El Extraño caso de Petare, are some of the 8 songs that make up this brilliant Venezuelan Metal album.
Porfirio Torres and Rafael Sylva Moreno were very pleased with the recognition made by Paul Gillman by including the style of the program in the album and in gratitude they dedicated a chapter of the program to a specific event in the artistic life of the Venezuelan metal musician.
In the year 2012 the trio of creators meets again to gestate the stories that would be used for the album Escalofrió II, La Conclusión. This work gave as sealed the theme of the scares in the theme of the songs of the musician.

Today, almost a month later, Mr. Porfirio Torres died in the city of Porlamar, Nueva Esparta, Venezuela, leaving a void in Venezuelan radio broadcasting. His voice will be remembered for his incredible contribution to popular culture in the country through the program Nuestro Insólito Universo.
This writing intends to give a small recognition that he gave to my knowledge of popular culture and to topics that can give much to talk about if seen through the prism with which he was raised in that radio program.
In the National Library of Venezuela, there is a collection of more than 600 chapters of this radio program. Many of these chapters were donated by Rafael Sylva Moreno himself.
Currently, many of the chapters of this program can be heard on the page of the channel Nuestro insólito Universo, of Carolina Lorenzo, on YouTube. From the same are the links that I place in this publication so that you can appreciate part of this legacy of Venezuelan broadcasting and create an opinion about them.
