Greetings Everyone,

I want to talk about a woman that I find inspiring the most and she is Anuradha Koirala, the social activist from my country, Nepal. She founded the non-profit organization called Maiti Nepal whose main aim is to aid the victims of sex trafficking. It was founded in 1993. This organization runs various awareness campaigns, provides help to women and children affected by traffickers , launch rescue operation and so on. Organization has different rehabilitation centers and one main being in the capital Kathmandu to help the victims. When I was a small kid, I read her biography in my social books and instantly got inspired by her social work trying to eradicate burning problem that have been going for a long time.

  • My favorite quote from her ,

Just imagine what would happen if your daughter was standing there. What would you do, how would you fight? So you have to join hands, you have to take each child as your daughter. Soon you will feel their sorrow and then you will feel the strength that comes out of you to protect them.

Her words just made me more inspiring than ever. She urged each and every individuals of family to raise the voices and fight against the traffickers and treat every child as their own. Because of her contribution, many victims are rescued and help victims reuniting with their families and help them by providing basic facilities such as food, education , shelter to ensure her future. So, once more I would like to thank her for her great work to take huge step in saving women and children from traffickers and help the victims to show them the light and provide new life.

Big Thanks to @belenguerra, @writingnreviews & @fendit for hosting the contest where we could talk about a women who have inspired lots and lots of people.
