In English It Is Known As Al Masjid An Nabi Also Known As Al Haram Al mdani Or Al Haramal Nabwi By Locals Its Build By Beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH In Ithe City Of Madina Located In Saudi Arabia
It Is Second Mosque Of Islam After Masjid Quba Which Is Made By Prophet Muhammad SAW
Now It Is Known As The Largest Mosques In The World

The Land Of The Mosque Belonged To Two Yong Orphan Children Sahl And Suhail
When They Came To Know That Muhammad PBUH Want To Acquire Their Land To Build A Mosque
They Went To Him And Offered The Land As A Gift For The Mosque
But Muhammad PBUH Insisted TO Pay To Them Because The Were Orphaned Children.
The Agreed Amount Of Price Was Paid By Abu Ayyub Al Ansari

He Accommodated Muhammad On The Arraival Of Madina In 622
Originally Mosque Was Opened Air And Muhammad Shared The Building Work Alongside With His Companions

The Most Noteable Thing Is Green Dome Which h Is Made On The House Of Ayesha RA The Resting Place Of Muhammad PBUH.
Many Pilgrims Who Perform Hajj Also Visit To Green Dome.

The Roof Of The Mosque Was Made Of Beaten Clay And Supported By Palm Trunks
The Roof Was 3.6 M High
The Three Doors Of The Mosque Were The “Gate Of Mercy To The South, “Gate Of Gabriel” To The West And “Gate Of Women” To The East.At This Time Point In The History Of The Mosque, The Qiblah Wall Was Facing North To Jerusalem, And Al-Suffah Was Along The Northern Wall.

Suleiman The Magnificent During His Rule Rebuild The East And West Walls Of Mosque He Also Added A Minaret In Northern Side Of The Mosque Named As Sulimaniyye.NEXT TO Muhammad’s Altar Shafiiya He Added New Altar Ahnaf,He Revivd The Gate Of Mercy Or The West Gate .The Pulpit That Was Used Today Was Made Under Murad III Rule.Mahmud II In 1817 Compeleted The Construction Of Purified Residence On Southeast Side And Covered The Tomb Of Muhammad PBUH With Green Color Dome In 1837 And Then It Is Known As Kube Hadra
After That Abdul Mecid Rebuild The Mosque In Thirteen Years and for The Construction Of Mosque Red Stones Were Used
Entire Mosque Was Recognized except The Tomb Of Muhammad ,Three Altar Pulput And The Suleimanyye Minaret
On The Walls Of Mosque Quranic Verses Were Written The Places Of Prayer And Courtyard Were Paved With Marble And
Red Stone. The Fifth Minaret, Mecidiyye, Was Built To The West Of The Surrounded Area. After

Original Member Used By Prophet Was A Block Of Date Palm Wood That Was Rep;Aced By Him With Tamarisk Onein 629 Three Stairs Ladder Added To Itthe Frst Two Caliph Did Not Used First Two In Respect Of Muhammad But The Tird Caliph Uthman Placed Fabric Dome Over It And Cover Tthe Steps With Ebony
In 1395 the Minbar Was Replaced By Baybars I , and in 1417 Shaykh Al-Mahmudi made it . This Was Also Replaced By A Marble One By Qaitbay In The Late Fifteenth Century, Which As Of 2013, Is Still Used In The Mosque.

Minarets

First Four Minarets Were Buid By Umer In In 1307 After The Renovation Project Of 1994, There Were Ten Minarets Which Were 104 Metres (341 Ft) High. The Minarets' Upper, Bottom And Middle Portion Are Cylindrical, Octagonal And Square Shaped Respectively.
