Scribbles for a Special Someone
That she smiled at me..
But twice, the butterflies,
And my heart was at sea..
Mama had warned me,
But I was taken, if not mistaken,
Already entranced with she
For her, a scribbled poem once a day...
I'd write her a poem whatever it took,
My pen whispered, Man you're full of lies,
But then it never saw, the stars I saw in her eyes...
That in a stranger, I found a depth anew..
Oh words could convey, but never enough,
She's beyond words, one diamond in the rough...
For her, a scribbled poem once a day...
Other times, I just marvel at her gifts..
For if one should seek a goddess in writing,
I'd be willing to bet, that she'd be top of the list..
And another, to every thought that lives in that pretty head..
They birth gems, those rare words off which we learn,
A wild flower, she outgrows every single flower bed...
For her, a scribbled poem once a day...
Piercing my soul, filling my heart..
Her unspoken words, relentlessly,
They pulled our "stranger" strings apart...
A stranger's spell doth hold me bound..
And now with love, and much ado,
My pen worships, my muse is found...
For her I bring, a scribbled poem once a day...
Perhaps it could've been two..
But as soon as I begun,
Once more t'was but deja vu...
And a ballad for your skin..
And three sonnets for the prize,
That sits high above your knees...
Here I am again at your gate...
This heart may indeed delay,
But it cometh surely, once a day...
And not a single star is in sight..
But my thoughts are happy thoughts,
For in you, they've found delight...
One more night to be true...
So let these words of mine endeavor,
To bring my heart to you...
To caress your tender skin..
Sweet syllables that are mine,
To stir your in-between...
My love, penned once a day..
Time stood still, and words came fast..
But despite all that has come above,
I have managed to save the best two for last...
Another, that made our dreams come true..
Together, a phrase that none can beat,
For us that phrase be all, to wit;

@fendit (P.S. Where have you been friend? #WritingnReviews Misses you!)
You filled my heart with relentless love and feelings.
Beautiful writing and well written.
That is exactly what emotions do to us.
Thanks bro. I appreciate the kind words.
