Dreams shattered
Raju will got married today. Many relatives have come to the house. Everyone is having a lot of fun together. Kids are making noise. The music is playing very loud. The house is beautifully decorated. Pleasant atmosphere all around.

Raju is very happy today. He is going to start a new life. He is thrilled with the arrival of that new life. Raju likes the person he is going to get as his life partner very much. The marriage is going on as a family arrangement . Raju has thought a lot about this time of his life before. Raju is feeling a little bit shy. Everyone seems to be giving him a different kind of importance. Having fun with him. His relatives are paying close attention to him. Raju's father and elder brothers are very busy arranging the wedding. Today Raju understands. How much hassle is there in arranging a wedding. Even after so much trouble, everyone is working with a smile. No one is upset anywhere. There is no depression. All the children and teenagers shouted and lifted the whole house. Seeing so much joy around, Raju feels good about himself.
Raju has been talking to the bride on the phone since the marriage was arranged. A strange love has formed between the two. It seems that the two have known each other for a long time. If he don't talk one day with his fiancee, everything seems to be empty. The two spend most of the day talking. Both of them are living in the dream of new life. How many of them have planned together for their future life. They have decided to rent a small house in the city. He will decorate the house by buying things slowly. They have already decided how many children to have. Different kinds of emotions are going through between them.
Raju does a mediocre job. He lives in Gazipur for employment. Although he doesn't like being here at all. He is from Haor. Raju grew up in a place where there are lots of open spaces, ponds across a wide area, full of natural beauty. It is very difficult for people like him to adapt to this densely populated place. However, Raju has accepted this hardship in the hope of a better future.
Raju remembers many things from the old days. Many of his dreams one day he will return to the village. Will go back and build a beautiful house. In that house he will spend his days happily in peace with his family. How many dreams Raju remembers. After a while, they will leave for the bride's house with the groom. Boats are one of the means of transportation in the Haor region. Now in this rainy season they can't go anywhere in their area except by boat. A big boat has been arranged to go to bride house. At noon, they left house for bride house. Everyone was going to have fun in the big boat with many relatives. Raju was sitting in the boat enjoying the beauty of the vast haor area. It will take three hours to reach the bride's house. Everything was going well. The adults had a concern about the weather. Because if there is a storm or rain in Haor, there is a possibility of an accident. The calm haor then feels like a turbulent sea. As the day shone brightly, the anxiety of the old people was allayed.
After a while like this, suddenly a light wind started and the sky was covered with clouds. After a while the intensity of the wind increased a lot. With thick black clouds and lightning. The biggest fears in the Haor region are thunderstorms and storms. Everyone was terrified of it. When the wind intensified and there was a heavy thunderstorm.The senior men in the boat told the boatman to hurry to the shore. Everyone is crying out to the Creator and praying. Everyone is terrified by the sound of thunder. The boatman was quickly trying to get to the shore. Suddenly lightning struck the boat. The last moment of Raju's life was a flash of intense light. Sixteen of the bride and his family members died on the spot. The rest were seriously injured. The sky shook at the sound of the wounded. At that moment, the joyous journey turned into a sky-roaring howl. When everyone's body reached Raju's house. There was a heartbreaking scene. The bride were to come to the house with the groom . That house became a place of mourning. This is how many dreams come to an abrupt end.(End)
