POETRY TO THE MOON! : CONTEST!!

The moon!! Such a wondrous,
Astronomical body,
Neither a planet nor a star!!
But somehow able to give light in the night.

It does not produce its own light,
I can hear some say,
But isn’t it marvelous how,
It can reflect light so well,
To cast out the dark at night,
With light, it is only reflecting.

I think we should aspire to be like it,
Because sometimes we do not possess strengths,
Other people have, and sometimes they,
Can’t seem to notice those strengths.
Instead of being jealous, just reflect,
The light of their strengths towards them,
Hopefully they will be able to notice their,
Strengths through the light you reflect.

When you see someone sad,
You do not have to be happy,
To put a smile on their face.
You can seek for inspiration from elsewhere,
You can use what you have,
And reflect the light of happiness towards them.

So when you feel like you are lacking within,
Always look outside of you and,
You will find something or a power higher,
Like God, where you can reflect some light,
From onto yourself or others.
