I really have many beautiful memories and more of the Christmas season because here we always meet as a family and enjoy these wonderful meetings to the fullest, but I think that a very special and beautiful memory was last year because it was the last Christmas in the company of our princess Nahomi.

Nahomi was my niece, she was born 7 years ago with a terrible syndrome called patau, which has as a main consequence serious malformations in many aspects, both internal and external, people who are born with this syndrome usually have little chance of life, because only the 5% survive more than 3 years, and our little girl was about to turn 7 years old, one of the few cases registered in the world.

Realmente tengo muchos recuerdos hermosos y más de las épocas decembrina pues aquí nos reunimos siempre en familia y disfrutamos al máximo de estas reuniones tan maravillosas, pero creo que un recuerdo muy especial y hermoso fue la del año pasado pues fue la última navidad en compañía de nuestra princesa Nahomi.

Nahomi era mi sobrina nació hace 7 años con un terrible síndrome llamado patau, el cual trae como consecuencia principal graves malformaciones en muchos aspectos tantos internos como externos, las personas que nacen con este síndrome por lo general tiene pocas probabilidades de vida, pues solo el 5% sobrevive más de 3 años, y nuestra pequeña ya iba a cumplir los 7 añitos de vida, uno de los pocos casos registrados en el mundo.

Her cares were many because she could not walk or speak and not only could she see through one of her little eyes, but she was for us the eternal baby of the family, she was the daughter of our older brother despite some setbacks we always managed to get ahead despite the circumstance, at family gatherings and parties, she was always present dressed like a fairy tale princess because for us that was what a princess always was, an angel who illuminated us with her presence.

Last Christmas was the last Christmas in his company, because in February of this year our naho died, really, although for many it sounds strange due to his suffering, we never imagined that such a thing would happen because we always think that after his first years of life they which ones were the most critical no longer have to worry.

Sus cuidados eran muchos pues no podía caminar, ni hablar y no solo podía ver por uno de sus ojitos, pero era para nosotros la bebe eterna de la familia, era hija de nuestro hermano mayor a pesar de algunos contratiempos siempre lográbamos salir adelante pese a la circunstancia, en las reuniones y fiestas familiares siempre estaba presente vestida como toda una princesa de cuento pues para nosotros eso era lo que siempre fue una princesa, un ángel que nos iluminaba con su presencia.

La navidad pasada fue la última navidad en su compañía, pues en febrero del presente año nuestra naho murió, realmente aunque para muchos suene extraño debido a su padecimiento nunca nos imaginamos que tal cosa ocurriría pues siempre pensamos que después de sus primeros años de vida los cuales eran los más críticos ya no habría de que preocuparse.

Last Christmas, as very rarely happens, we were able to celebrate it all together as a family, we were the 5 siblings, our parents and the terrible grandchildren, including our little one, it was a very beautiful and emotional Christmas for everyone, full of laughter and joys, music and songs, where the main thing was always love and family unity.

Remembering this Christmas is a very beautiful and sad memory at the same time because we never thought that 2 months later Nahomi would not be with us, and this 2020 has not helped us much to overcome this loss, but we know that our little angel always cares for us and guides us. from heaven, and that remembering her with love and joy is the best gift of all this Christmas.

La navidad pasada como muy pocas veces pasa la pudimos celebrar todos juntos en familia, estábamos los 5 hermanos, nuestros padres y los terribles nietos, entre ellos nuestra pequeña, fue una navidad muy hermosa y emotiva para todos, cargada de risas y alegrías, de música y canciones, donde lo principal siempre fue el amor y la unión familia.

Recordar esta navidad es un recuerdo muy hermoso y triste a la vez pues nunca pensamos que 2 meses después ya Nahomi no estaría con nosotros, y este 2020 no nos ha ayudado mucho a superar esta perdida, pero sabemos que nuestro angelito nos cuida y guía siempre desde el cielo, y que recordarla con amor y alegría es el mejor regalo de todos esta navidad.
