My Cutest Christmas Memory - The Christmas Giving

Well it may come to you as a surprise but my cutest Christmas memory is not one that i shared with my family or with a cousin during a Christmas dinner at home or at a restaurant whiles we laughed and had a great chat about the good times, my cutest Christmas memory stems from series of outreaches i went on with my @bettervision project in Kumasi a year a go. School was had just vacated and it was some few days left to Christmas and so as we do every we find ways to give back to the communty and thanks to @fundition we were doing that a lot that year with programs like touching lives at Christmas where we go on to remote areas on Christmas day to give out free health services to the needy.

This particular Christmas though was one of my favorite memories because i saw some of the most beautiful smiles from an elderly woman and a kid after they had their vision improved through refraction and were given free spectacles to wear. The whole Christmas week was spend giving out to others and caring for many, it was fun, i did not even attend church service during that time but it was worth it because i felt God would understood the purpose for which i missed since i hardly missed service.

We went to so many places including Omanadwareye and Kwakukrom, later on we had some in the towns at the Kumasi City Mall which saw a good patronage and one at Top High near the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. And to make the memory even more remembering i had the support of @mcsamm who a great steemian from the Ghanaian community, he helped in many ways and we also gave out free steemit fliers to individuals so they could learn more about steemit too.

It has always been said that there is more blessing in giving than receiving but i also realized that week that there is more beauty in giving than receiving, it quite unfortunate @bettervision went a bit dormant after the pandemic however we intend to get back up again and this year perhaps we can start again with touching lives at christmas.
