Contest: My Favorite Movie Saga

I am a fun of movies and i love to spend my free time watching an episode of a series or a new movie release that i may have yet to watch. Sometimes i just go back and revisit old movies that really stood out for me and one of such movies which forms my favorite saga movie is the Harry Potter group of movies. Before i move on though let me say thanks to @raquelsiso1, @belenguerra , @fendit and @writingnreviews for the opportunity to be able to participate.

A General Overview
The saga basically focuses on Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), a young child who had a magic miracle from his infancy allowing him to survive the murdering spell cast by the greatest villain at that time within their world to the point where he grows up, masters the magic art as a protege of a great witch and wizard and finally vanquish the his all time nemesis Lord Voldemort. Each individual movie within the saga has battle between Harry and Lord Voldemort in a way either directly or indirectly through any of his followers or minions. Each movie can be watched as a stand alone and still be fully comprehended.

The films and the year of Release
The Harry Potter saga has 8 movies in total released at different times and spanning a 10 year period from 2001 to 2011. They include;

• Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets (2002)
• Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
• Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
• Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
• Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010)
• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011)

My favorite and least favorite of the movies
My favorite of the 8 is the Philosopher's stone and in this movie Harry as a freshman accomplishes lots of great feat including becoming the new seeker for griffindor, winning a match, been smart enough to help professor when in need, finding secrets to a secret entrance that guarded a precious stone, battling and winning a magical chess game and winning against his great nemesis to begin with, without knowledge of spells or advance magic.

My least favorite would then be the half-blood prince, the movie was too dark for me compared to the others, as in the scenes, i could never truly comprehend the plot well as compared to the others and it ended as a tragedy shattering all my hope.

My favorite Characters
My favorite characters would obviously include Harry Potter who is the protagonist for the whole saga and saves the wizard world in the end however there is another character who really stood out for me and i may have even crushed on her a bit? Thus, Hermione Grenger played by Emma Watson. Her brilliance saved the trio of heroes on countless occasions and she made me appreciate diligence very much.

So why Harry Potter
I have always been a fan of the mystical arts since i could remember, i love the idea of magic or miracles, seeing the unexpected happen in ways that science could not explain and Harry Potter was quite famous during my time as an adolescent, many watched it whiles many talked against it with weird believes of been possessed by spirits if one watched it. Perhaps i wanted to find out if this whole conspiracy theory is real as i loved dares and adventure. Eventually i watched and nothing happened but i fell in love with the characters and so i watched again and again until the whole saga came to an end.
