Paula opened her eyes only to be met with piercing rays of sun light. She must have forgotten to close the curtains last night.

She let out a huge sigh as she pulled the blanket and landed it over her face. Her body was widely awake but not her mind. She sprung up in full force when a small detail of last night's events crossed her mind. At the same time, she groaned in pain as she placed her hands over her head. She was still hung over. No sooner had the memories of last night come to her than they left. She couldn't quiet recall what had made her spring up like that.

One foot after the other, she unwillingly pulled herself out of bed. She dragged her feet across the floor as she made her way to the kitchen...it felt like such a long distance. She mixed a cup of coffee and went back to the bedroom. As she tried to relax her body onto the bed, her mind showed her a small figment of last night and she fluttered for balance as the cup hit the ground and shuttered into small pieces. She couldn't believe herself. How could she have done that. Not even in her drunkest state did she imagine herself doing what she had done.

As she fell onto the floor with her mouth wide open, still in shock, last night's events started to come back one by one.

It was valentine's day last night and she had decided to go out with the girls, after all, she was single. For the occasion, she put on a silk maroon dress. It was long and went all the way down to her knees with a slit just as long. It had a sweetheart neckline and a deep V-back. She looked absolutely stunning in it.
She knew it and so did all the men in the restaurant into which she entered. She couldn't help but giggle at every head she turned.
Her and the girls had reserved a table in one of the corners of the restaurant and so she made her way there and took a seat.

One particular gentleman caught her eye. He was seated at the opposite end of the restaurant but the eye contact and tension across the room was very much felt by each one of them. She didn't know what it was but her heart fluttered every time he looked in her direction. She had never felt this way and it freaked her out Abit. But if there is something that she had learnt, it was that life is too short to waste and she was not going to waste another moment of any day.

She decided that she would approach him and be straight about how he made her feel...pretty bold she thought.

As she almost stood up, her girls came in and so she quickly brushed off the plan. They ordered and had alot of wine and food. They were laughing the whole time but Paula's gaze always found its way across the room to find her mystery man. She felt a brush of waves whenever her gaze met with his. She didn't know why but that felt like her man.

She decided to play the classic move of going to the bathroom. She took her time but he didn't follow. She thought he would but he didn't. She was confused. From the bathroom, she galloped two full glasses to calm her nerves. Her girls were happy that she seemed to be getting out of her comfort zoom and so they didn't ask questions. Just at that moment, Mr. Mysterious came and asked if he could have a minute of her time.

They stepped outside and he wasted no time asking her out. She was happy, she was fluttered, she was excited. In that moment, she kissed him, just like that...out of the blue. He was taken aback, surprised at how the seemingly shy girl was so bold to make the first move.

Paula felt differently seeing the shock on his face. She pulled back, and one heel after the other, she took off. That was the last thing she remembered. She found herself laying in bed the next morning.

She hit her head and screamed like a kid realizing what she had done. She fell for this gorgeous mysterious man and she doesn't even know his name. She only knows the taste of his compelling lips.
"How foolish of me" she lamented.
"What am I to do now? How am I to find my love now?"
