How to refuse to talk about my favorite writer nothing more and nothing less than Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, whom I consider the best writer on the face of earth, I like other authors but it is with Conan Doyle with whom I feel the most affinity.
Conan Doyle was born in the nineteenth century and despite having graduated as a Physician, he decided to venture into the world of writing to solve his precarious economic situation a bit, he began writing various articles, after nothing was born what I consider my source of inspiration Sherlock Holmes, started with a little story in a London newspaper, if I remember correctly, I think it was published once a week, immediately catching the readers of the time.
The editor of the newspaper noticed that on the day that story was published, each and every one of the copies was sold, eventually running out, as time went by, it was necessary to publish up to twice a week, of course that generated good dividends to both the newspaper and Conan Doyle himself.

It was through Sherlock Holmes that Conan Doyle achieved fame, and as incredible as it may seem, he came to hate his character, he no longer wanted to write about him, since Conan Doyle did not consider this type of publication as real literature, he wanted be recognized for "real literature", hahahaha nothing is further from the truth.
One day and without anyone waiting for him, his next story appeared, and to the surprise and dismay of all London there he fulfilled his wishes, Sherlock Holmes had died, he had done it, he had finished with the character that catapulted him to fame, but who ironically hated with all his soul.
The phenomenon that Conan Doyle caused in London could not be foreseen, letters from fans rained to the newspaper and to Conan Doyle's house, they did not ask, they demanded the return of Sherlock Holmes, they could not accept his death, "I must confess that I cry when upon reading discover that Sherlock had died. "
The owner of the newspaper could not believe it, he no longer had peace, he no longer knew what to do, so he called Conan Doyle trying to convince him to write about his fantastic character again, Conan Doyle reluctant to revive him told the editor that he would Only if he paid him an astronomical figure, he thought that he would not be paid what he asked for, but to his amazement, of course, the owner of the newspaper accepted, it was, as he brought back his most famous character, that is how Sherlock Holmes returned of death.
Resigned Conan Doyle continued writing the famous adventures of this detective, only one day when his son died of pneumonia as a result of his stay in the war, he moved away from writing, to dedicate his last years to the paranormal, in order to achieve communicate with his beloved son, who died at the age of 71 as a result of a heart attack.
And although Conan Doyle wrote fiction books, he wrote books and writings on the paranormal, he also wrote poetry, theater among others, but it was his 4 books and his 56 Sherlock Holmes stories, which gave him his fame and renown in the world of the lyrics that immortalized him.
In particular, I can understand their point of view because sometimes it happens to me, that there are genres that I do not like to write about, but they tell me that it is what I write best, for me Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is and will be the best writer, the one who drives me daily, is for me a mentor.

Hola amigos de steemit hoy he decidido participar en este concurso, pese al hecho de estar un poco desanimada con la plataforma, espero que esta vez me valla bien.
Cómo negarme a hablar de mi escritor favorito nada más y nada menos que Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, a quien considero el mejor escritor sobre la faz de tierra, me gustan otros autores pero es con Conan Doyle con quién siento más afinidad.
Conan Doyle nació en el siglo XIX y a pesar de haberse graduado de Médico este decidió incursionar en el mundo de la escritura para solventar un poco su precaria situación económica, comenzó escribiendo artículos diversos, luego de la nada nació lo que yo considero mi fuente de inspiración Sherlock Holmes, comenzó por una pequeñita historia en un periódico de Londres, si mal no recuerdo, creo que se publicaba una vez por semana, atrapando de inmediato a los lectores de la época.
El editor del periódico pudo notar que el día que salía publicada aquella historia todos y cada uno de los ejemplares se vendían llegando a agotarse, con el pasar del tiempo, se vio la necesidad de publicar hasta dos veces por semana, claro eso le generaba buenos dividendos tanto al periódico como al mismo Conan Doyle.

Fue atravez de Sherlock Holmes que Conan Doyle logro la fama, y por increíble que parezca este llegó a odiar a su personaje, ya no quería escribir más sobre el, ya que Conan Doyle no consideraba este tipo de publicaciones como literatura de verdad, el quería ser reconocido por "literatura real", jajajaja nada más lejos de la realidad.
Un día y sin nadie esperarlo apareció su siguiente historia, y para sorpresa y consternación de todo Londres allí cumplió sus deseos, Sherlock Holmes había muerto, lo había hecho había acabado con el personaje que lo catapultó a la fama, pero que de manera irónica odiaba con toda su alma.
El fenómeno que causó Conan Doyle en Londres no pudo ser previsto, al periódico y a la casa de Conan Doyle le llovian cartas de los fans, no pedían, exigían el regreso de Sherlock Holmes, no podían aceptar su muerte, "debo confesar que llore cuando al leer descubrir que Sherlock había muerto".
El dueño del periódico no lo podía creer, ya no tenía paz, ya no sabía que hacer, así que llamo a Conan Doyle tratando de convencerlo para que escribiera nuevamente de su personaje fantástico, Conan Doyle renuente a revivirlo le dijo al editor que lo haría, solo si le pagaba una cifra astronómica, pensaba que este no le pagarían lo que pedía, pero para su asombro claro que el dueño del periódico acepto, fue, asi como trajo de vuelta a su personaje más famoso, así fue como regreso Sherlock Holmes de la muerte.
Conan Doyle resignado seguido escribiendo las famosas aventuras de este detective, solo que un día cuando su hijo murió de neumonía producto de su estadía en la guerra, se alejo de la escritura, para dedicar sus últimos años a lo paranormal, con la finalidad de lograr comunicarse con su tan amado hijo fallecido, murió a los 71 años de edad producto de un infarto.
Y aunque Conan Doyle escribió libros de ficción, escribió libros y escritos de lo paranormal, también escribió poesía, teatro entre otros pero fueron sus 4 libros y su 56 relatos de Sherlock Holmes, lo que le dieron su fama y renombre en el mundo de las letras que lo inmortalizaron.
A mí en lo particular, puedo entender su punto de vista pues en ocasiones me pasa, que hay géneros de los que no me gusta escribir, pero me dicen que es lo que mejor escribo, para mí Sir Arthur Conan Doyle es y será el mejor escritor, el que me impulsa a diario, es para mí mentor.

I have also read the Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conon Doyle. They were really good. That's a good review. I got to know a lot about him.
If Sherlock Holmes is by far the character I like the most, it's good that he also likes it.
