History of Islam:

So Islam came 1400 years ago, this message of Islam was giving us through the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ, in the 7th century. In Arabic "Islam" means "surrender", as we have said to surrender us to the willing of God. And for that, God has revealed his last book Holy Quran on Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ after Tawrat, Zaboor(Psalms), and Injeel(Gospel).

The Holy Quran was sent to this world by God from an Angel Hazrat Gabriel to Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ, for us to take guidance from it. And we also have hadith and sunnah which are the things Hazrat Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ has done in his life and also have said.

Pillar of Islam:

As God has told us the pillars of Islam on which Islam is made and all of the Muslims have to follow this:

  1. The First one is the Profession of Faith (shahada): It is the belief that "The God is one and Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ is the last prophet of God". This is also can be found in Divine Book Holy Quran and if someone wants to become Muslim he has to read it in an Arabic form.

  2. Prayer (salat): The second pillar of Islam is that we have to pray 5 times a day while facing towards the mecca. those five times are Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Esha.
Fajr: We pray Fajr before sunrise
Zuhr: Zuhr is to be prayed when the sun is on the top of our heads.
Asr: Asr time is 1.5 hours before sunset.
Maghrib: we prayed it after sunset
Esha: And then finally Esha is to be prayed before sleeping.
As of now, we have clocks so the time is fixed according to the clocks.

  3. Alms (zakat): The third pillar of Islam is to do Alms(Zakat) in which we have to give a fixed amount from which we have earned to the needy peoples, and also we made hospitals, mosques and do charity with this money and it is necessary for all Muslims, and this helps in fighting poverty.

  4. Fasting (sawm): The fourth pillar of Islam is to do fasting. We fast on the Holy Month Ramadan which will come very soon on the 12th of April inshallah. We also can do fasting on other days also except on Eid. Fasting actually helps in understanding the pain of poor people.

  5. Pilgrimage (hajj): And the last pillar of Islam is Pilgrimage. Every Muslim whose health and finances permit it must make at least one visit to the holy city of Mecca, in present-day Saudi Arabia. The Ka'ba, a cubical structure covered in black embroidered hangings, is at the center of the Haram Mosque in Mecca. Muslims believe that it is the house Abraham (Ibrahim in Arabic) built for God, and face in its direction (qibla) when they pray. Since the time of the Prophet Muhammad, believers from all over the world have gathered around the Ka'ba in Mecca on the eighth and twelfth days of the final month of the Islamic calendar. 1

And while we do any pose we have to read supplications in between. Praying also helps in circulating blood in our whole body.

Beliefs In Islam:

There are six main beliefs in Islam:

  1. We all have to believe in the oneness of God(Allah), as he is the creator of this whole world and he knows everything and he is the most powerful.
  2. Our second belief is that we have to believe in the angels of God, who are unseen beings and they carry the orders from God to the universe and also worship God.
  3. The third belief is that we have to believe in the books of God which are the Quran (given to Muhammad), the Torah (given to Moses), the Gospel (given to Jesus), the Psalms (given to David), and the Scrolls (given to Abraham)
  4. The Fourth belief of Islam is that we all have to believe in the prophets which are sent by God. As there are one lakh twenty-four thousand prophets were sent by the God first prophet was Hazrat Adam, while the Quran has also mentioned Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus as the prophet who was sent by God and the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ as the last prophet of God.
  5. The Fifth belief of Islam is that we all have to believe in the Day of Judgment, as we all have to die and we will be judged there by God and the one with bad deed will go to Hell while the one with a good deed will go to Paradise.
  6. The sixth belief of Islam is that we all have to believe that whatever happens in our lives is with the order of God and we should show patience and do not curse our life and should believe in Divine Decree.

Holy Places in Islam:

We Muslims have three Holy Places:

  1. Mecca: here we go to do the pilgrimage, It is where the Kaaba is.
  2. Madinah: It was actually the place where Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ was born and buried. There is also a Mosque Masjid-e-Nabawi which was made by Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
  3. Jerusalem: It is the Holy Place for us as it was the first Kaaba for us before it changed to Mecca. This place is also Holy for Jewish and Christians.

Conclusion:

There are some verses I wanted to share with you all, these verses have changed many lives:

Do people think that they will be let go merely by saying: “We believe,” and that they will not be tested(29:2)
(Everyone will be tested)

And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever places his trust in Allah, Sufficient is He for him, for Allah will surely accomplish His Purpose: For verily, Allah has appointed for all things a due proportion.” (Quran, 65:3)
(Have patience)

Kind words and the covering of faults are better than charity followed by injury. Allah is free of all wants, and He is Most-Forbearing. (Sura: 2, Verse: 263)
(Kindness)

When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.(2:186)
(Have Faith in God)
