The wheels first than the road

The term pictogram is an ideogram that conveys meaning through the appearance of an image that resembles or imitates the actual physical state of the object. Signs or images that include pictograms are called pictographs. Ideograms themselves have the meaning of a graphic symbol that represents an idea rather than a group of letters. Scholars argue that this ideogram has been used since ancient times on the plains of Europe and has remained a part of human culture for more than three thousand years. Examples of a pictograph include ancient drawings and prehistoric paintings found in cave walls. Pictographs are also used in writing and graphic systems. According to a pictograph from Sumeria and estimated to date from around the year three thousand five hundred BC, it describes the first wheel as three planks joined together and carved into a circle. This is definitely an easier way to make wheels than with whole slabs, considering that the wheels came before the road.

As it is known that roads are land transportation infrastructure that covers all parts of the land area, including complementary buildings and equipment intended for traffic, which are on the ground surface, above the ground surface, below the ground and water surface, or underwater and land and above the water's surface, except for railroads, lorries, and cableways.

A wheel is a circular object which, together with an axis, can produce a movement with little friction by rolling. Common examples are found in applications in transportation. The term wheel is also often used for other circular objects that rotate such as waterwheels. When and where the wheel was invented is still a question. However, it is generally believed that the wheel started from a rolling log. From there, the wheel becomes a cross-section of logs, wheels that are quite heavy and break easily but can at least roll.
