What would the world of music be without its great icons, without those great artists who changed everything For me, Michael represents the best example of a perfect artist, and represents illusion and solidarity, humanity with their work?

This is MJ signature on my arm, it's a real tattoo. I inked on 2009 when he passed away

The truth is that we will never know, since there have been some beings, throughout history, who have been in charge of transforming music into what it is today, an art. And one of those great artists is undoubtedly the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. About him, and about his influence in the world of music, and beyond, I will talk today because to me Michael Jackson it's the best artist, showman in the history of contemporary music and I love him to death 👑. It revolutionized the world of video clips Michael Jackson used video clips as an expression of art, and was able to tell a complete story through them. They were not an excuse to promote his music, they were true audiovisual works, films. Thriller is a great example of this, its production cost 500,000 dollars, an exorbitant amount for the time, but it was worth it, MTV took the exclusive rights to the video to broadcast it on its channel, which is why its audience soared . Thriller won the Grammy for Best Video, how could it be otherwise. John Landis (An American Werewolf in Paris), in Black or White and Thriller; or Martin Scorsese, in Bad, were some of the directors who worked with him to carry out such spectacular video clips.

But let's start for the beginning ok?

Michael began his artistic career in the mid-1960s in the musical group The Jackson 5, later known as the Jacksons in which he published, together with some of his brothers, ten albums until 1975. The group was founded in 1965 in Gary, Indiana, by brothers Jackie, Tito, and Jermaine, with younger brothers Marlon and Michael joining soon after.
The Jackson 5 performed in talent shows and clubs on the Chitlin' Circuit (community's of "black people") , then signed with Steeltown Records in 1967 and released two singles. In 1968, they signed with Motown, where they were the first group to debut with four consecutive number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 with the songs "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save", and "I'll Be There". They also achieved 16 top-40 singles on the chart. The group left Motown for Epic Records in early 1976, with the exception of Jermaine, who was replaced by Randy. At Epic, they released four studio albums and one live album between 1976 and 1981, including the successful albums Destiny (1978) and Triumph (1980) and the singles "Enjoy Yourself", "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)", and "Can You Feel It".

They released the Victory album the following year, followed by an extensive tour which also featured songs from Michael's solo albums. After the Victory tour, Michael and Marlon Jackson left the group. The remaining four released 2300 Jackson Street album in 1989 before being dropped from their label. In 2001, the Jacksons reunited on Michael's 30th Anniversary Celebration TV special.

They were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. Two of the band's recordings ("ABC" and "I Want You Back") are among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll and, alongside "I'll Be There", were also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Personal Life:

In 1993, Jackson secretly married Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley's only daughter, in the Dominican Republic. This link caused public opinion to be divided in two: that of those who saw the union as a publicity stunt to get Michael to be the star of all time; and that of his followers who found in this marriage a beautiful love story that linked the king of pop with the king of rock. The couple broke up two years later on friendly terms. In 1997.

"The Biggest selling album of all Times, "thriller"

A multidisciplinary artist Singer, dancer, composer, show organizer. You will already know that he has a prodigious voice, that his dance left everyone amazed (his ability to slide with the Moonwalk, and to tilt his body 45º as in the Smooth Criminal video clip are incredible); and what to say about the lyrics and the sound of the songs that he composed himself. But what do I mean by show organizer? Have you seen the documentary "This Is It"? In this documentary you can see how the rehearsals were and all the production prior to what was to be Michael Jackson's final tour, of 50 concerts during the summer of 2009 (which could not be carried out due to his death on June 25 of that year). Well, in that documentary you can see why Michael is a unique, wonderful artist. You have the ability to appreciate perfection, and when you can't find it, you know what needs to be changed. It can already be a note that does not fit what you want, a platform that does not rise as you want, or a light that is too bright. It can be anything, in any of the many aspects that there is in a show, that Michael knows how to modify it so that everything is perfect. And his ear, his ear is a true wonder, he has a gift to appreciate every note, to appreciate if there is any fault, no matter how small. All of this makes him the perfect artist.

Michael has been characterized by the large number of charitable works he has done.

From a cinema and an amusement park for terminally ill children in his own home, to the 300 million dollars that he apparently donated to different NGOs, to songs and concerts whose profits were directed to certain humanitarian causes. He wanted to change the world through his acts and his music. He was an inspiration for other artists, and for the whole world, who could learn from his solidarity, from his concern for the needs of others. An example of this is the song We are the World, with which he managed to raise millions of dollars (there are currently more than 140 million) against the drought in Africa.

The single"heal the world is the best selling single of all time and fundraised 30 million dollars in humanitarian help for children in Africa

Michael has a great influence on many contemporary artists and after him, how could it be otherwise. In this sense, Bruno Mars can be highlighted, who already commented in an interview that every artist should want to be like the king of pop. And he, with his style, with his rhythm, with his timbre of voice, and his dance, is the artist who can most quickly remind us of Michael Jackson. Influence on contemporary art Yes, Michael Jackson is an artist who has revolutionized the world of music. But his influence has reached the art world as such. At the National Portrait Gallery in London they made an exhibition, Michael Jackson: On the Wall, dedicated to exploring how the figure of the king of pop has been the inspiration of some artists such as Andy Warhol, Rita Ackerman or David LaChapelle. To end this text, as a great lover of Michael Jackson, of his music, of everything he did and what he represents, I can say that for me this artist means magic, passion, it means the success of doing what you love above all .

Michael Jackson has sold more than 350 million musical productions, making him one of the best-selling musicians in history. For his contributions to music, dance and fashion, he is recognized as the "King of Pop".

Now regarding to me Michael has been my biggest and dearest influencer. Actually I'm a bilingual because I need to know what his songs says so I studying English, My cultural backgrounds I took him for him no doubt about it. His music has been my companion on my darkness moments and believe me, has been a few just for name 3 few small things. But I better stop here because this post its getting too long 😅, I have been collector of his for 26 years now and here I wanna share some of my items with you, believe me, there are a lot more!
