POEM- EVERY WORD OF PRAYER🕊

as glittery as a fresh diamond,
her smile melts the candled souls of people.
just take a glance at her, and you’re budding,
talk to her about it and she’s blushing.

as a predator stalks its prey,
people wish to be like her so they pray,
purposely to flee from their dismays
and not from their cherished souls.

sometimes she’s not in the mood,
yet, she’s supposed to be in the hood.
the epitome of bravery, but her heart gets cold,
sometimes leaving her with no one to hold.

circumstances freeze her moments,
melting them down and making her lament.
if they were as quick as a flash,
she wouldn’t be having such permanent harshness.

she runs from what lingers on her mind,
the one it wouldn’t halt even if she used a wand.
as nervous as a cat,
she doesn’t want to lose herself.

she is known to be mild,
but as ignorant as a little child,
she doesn’t know who has the safest haven,
to cut her a slice of heaven.

to the world, she has a beautiful smile,
meanwhile, her inner part keeps dying all this while.
people say she’s so strong,
but deep inside, they couldn’t be more wrong.

she craves the rays of hope from above,
in order to keep her calm.
but her world keeps spinning,
so fast that it wouldn’t remain steady.

to her, It’s hard to explain
without being considered insane,
so she keeps them to herself
until she realizes she needs real help.

as frequent as droplets of water,
baneful moments keep her in a land of wonder.
these things she fights let her feel so small,
so small that it keeps her very silent.

but as she keeps praying,
as she clings to every word she says,
she will see a light at the end of this tunnel,
so bright to evaporate her pool of tears within.
