Sin duda las mujeres al transcurrir el tiempo hemos logrado ocupar cargos importantes, siendo el principal como siempre lo digo el de gerenciar el hogar. Pero no sólo el hogar sino aquello que nos apasiona, el trabajo que amamos aquello para que nacimos.
Muchas de nosotras desde muy jóvenes dejamos brillar esas virtudes, en el caso de la actuación existen muchas mujeres con una actuación digna de un Oscar, como es el caso de la pequela Anna Paquin (24 de Julio de 1982) a los de 11 años de edad fue reconocida por su actuación en la película El Piano, siendo una de las actrices más jóvenes en recibir este premio.
Fue a la audición acompañando a su hermana para no asistir y faltar a clases, audicionando sin haberlo planificado y ganado el papel siendo elegida entre 1000 niñas. Este papel le concedio el Oscar por Mejor Actriz de Reparto
El Piano, relata la historia de una pianista muda Ada y su hija Flora interpretada por la joven actriz Anna Paquin, estuvo dirigida por Jane Campion.
Ada y Flora llegan a Nueva Zelanda, siendo abandonadas junto con sus pertenencias por la tripulación del barco en el que han llegado desde Escocia. Su nuevo marido obliga a Ada a abandonar el piano en la playa, siendo luego vendido a George Baines (Harvey Keitel), vecino de Stewart y entusiasta de la música de piano, quien al principio le pide a Ada que le dé clases de piano, pidiéndole seguidamente hacer un trato consistente en que ella podrá tocar el piano mientras que él la pueda tocar a ella. A partir de aquí, empieza una relación entre Ada y George, que marcará el devenir de la historia. Fuente
