MEANING OF RELIGION

For the purpose of this contest, I will like to give a brief meaning of what RELIGION means.
Like any other English word, Religion to me simply means various ways of peoples beliefs.

Oxford Dictionaries defines religion as the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.[1] Others, such as Wilfred Cantwell Smith, have tried to correct a perceived Judeo-Christian and Western bias in the definition and study of religion.

I am not here to criticize or say things that will go contrary to the intentions of the creator of this contest @writingnreviews.
I am a born and bread Christian.
I didnt just wake up and decided that okay I was going to be Christian.
Even thou the Christian race is not as uptight as it should be there are still benefits.
Like every other religion I belief we all worship the same God.

BENEFITS OF BEING A CHRISTIAN

Being a Christian comes with it many benefits, below are few of such benefits.

• It brings about oneness and togetherness.
• Helps build ones spiritual life
• Encourages us to keep up the faith and and continue the good work.

Like every other thing we do we do have both advantages and disadvantages.

PLACE OF WORSHIP

We notice that every organization have that one place they usually meet to hold meetings and discuss vital issues.
For the Christians the place of worship is known as the CHURCH.
Carnally, I will say the church is a building where Christians meet/gather to worship God.
I am not trying to bring up any form of debate, but I disagree with that definition.
If we look critically, We notice that we are the church, the church is in the heart. We may be regular at attending church services and doing other things but not right in the heart.

The building of the church can be of many forms.

It will interest you all to know that all Christians are one but worship in different denominations.
Some of this Denominations are the Roman Catholic, the Pentecostals, etc.

Being a Christian is a one in a million feeling. The belonginness that comes with it, the help you get from one another.
