Hello steemians, special appreciation to @writingnreviews for this amazing contest.

I would like to make an introduction of myself beginning with my name but your mundane tongue would not be able to pronounce it, that said all you need to know is my title, I am the last living Alien Queen ruler of the Xathorian kingdom, and as you obviously have no idea I would tell you my tale.

I being the Alien Queen last and only living or not began my journey out of my kingdom to find my mate for to take my place as Queen that was one rule my ancestors layed down, the Xathorians believed finding a mate was key to carrying on the royal line and as much as I wanted to rule as a lone Queen I was required to bare an heir even if the aliens were immortals an heir was still required.

I journeyed far and got to another realm where their world was almost overrun with a Valg King and Queen. There was a Queen who fought against them, a fire breathing fae Queen, they looked in dire need of help so me being a strong headed sugar sweet lady I aided them in battle, I was born with magic in my blood, raw magic to be used as I saw fit indeed I was a much needed alia Fighting alongsides the fire breathing Queen and her companions I got to learn about them, there was this pretty broken fae male amongst them and no I did not feel the mating bond I just felt the need to be a friend and help him walk from the darkness into the light, to climb out the dark abyss together. We made a promise to each other to always find the other and be there to whatever end and guess what I told him my name for he was not just a mere mundane or fae, I didn’t know what it was but I told him. My name is
Raiphrier. I might not have completed my task in finding my mate but I found something greater, I found friendship real and true and it was not something many could boast of, I am glad that even when I am long gone, the story of my friendship will still be whispered around fires. (Who knows from friend to mate).
