Synopsis :

In The Boys universe, superheroes are made up of people who protect the world from evil under the umbrella of a company called Vought. Of all the superheroes, the top seven are joined by a council called The Seven.
The series begins with one of these seven superheroes, A-Train, killing a civilian girl named Robin.

My Thoughts :

When I first saw The Boys, I thought it was one of those classic superhero shows. I honestly didn't want to start The Boys because there's been so many superhero series and movies lately. I forced myself to open the first episode and what I encountered was on a very different level from the normal superhero series.

Unlike other superhero tv shows and movies, The Boys is a series with a dark sense of humor.

When we think of superheroes, we think of a model that is almost omnipotence-capable and protects humanity with a perfect desire for morality and peace. As good as that sounds, it doesn't sound real when it's adapted to our world. A man can't be so perfect no matter what.

The boys are a production created with this idea. Superheroes are portrayed on television as flawless and kind-hearted. But in real life, he's a drug addict, fond of women, even heroes capable of letting hundreds of people die for their own lives.

One of the things I like about The Boys is that normally if a superhero accidentally kills a civilian, he gets depressed and can't get rid of the burden of his mistake for a long time, but that's not how The Boys universe works. After A-Train kills Robin, he goes to the press like it's a very simple thing, makes a apology, and the facts of the incident are removed by Vought with recourse and threats.

The superheroes we saw in The Boys are really strong, but they weren't raised by people like Spider-man's mentor, Uncle Ben. The Boys heroes were raised by average American families, and when they grew up, they became the average person. Their morals have been ruined by the powers they have gained.

What The Boys do best is their references, which are the basis of the series. His references to the effects of superhero culture on our world, his handling of the problems that almost every woman faces in the business world, and her political messages. Everything is incredibly in place and beautiful. It was a great reference to the little-known superheroes around the world, including a series and other great superheroes making movies and building a Vought Cinematic Universe.

If you're looking for a more realistic superhero production, I'd say The Boys is the ideal choice for you. I think The Boys is a production that manages to give its audience every emotion individually.after watching the first episode, you can't help but look at the next episode. As a result, my score for The Boys is ten out of ten.
