Now this is "Lose Yourself" in the music! a song by Eminem and this is my review!
Lose Yourself is one of the greatest hits in the Hip Hop/Rap Rock music. This song was released on 2002 and it was a soundtrack for movie "8 mile". a movie which I loved its meaning and its story line was really great. Eminem himself was in that movie too and it was showing how an artist start from a bad situation and then he keeps going forward to reach a better situation where he deserves to be.
The song's Key is D Minor and its BPM is 66, The composition starts with a sound FX and it is like the sound of burning a paper or a kind of noise like that, then there is the piano melodies which adds a nice vibe to the song as its intro and along that we can hear a dreamy pad in its background and when the pad ends then there is a nice Guitar riff which it is an element from Rock music, there Eminem starts a slow speech with some powerful words, and when the drums starts he starts to sing the rap, there is a key added in the background and after that Bass line starts, in 1:16 there is the piano starts playing slow and soft (soulful notes and chords) when the song reaches 1:39 the chorus section, there is horns and Eminem starts singing melodic there are some nice high notes on piano too and there is also a back vocals which adds a nice sound under the vocals, in the next verse there are changes in piano keys and organ sound which adds more detail and make it more emotional and adds a sad feeling to the song while at the same time the music has the power, and like the first chorus in the second one Eminem adds more power to the vocals and shout the lyrics in that part, a great performance, the song ends with some words which he speech at the end of the song and the music keeps going on instrumental until the end. This is a kind of motivational music which it makes you never stop from what you are trying to do and makes you continue in your path to reach your goals and this is also why I love it, though the other reason is because I love Rock and Rap music :).
